Check yourself now, I initially didn't checked my uniform as he demanded but when I saw that some of the boys were grinning(they dare not laugh because the principal was giving his boring speech as usual). I immediately took a quick glance at my uniform, which turned out to be worn inside out, with mouth wide open I rechecked Tunji's uniform which I saw was well worn, it was then I remembered what happened yesterday..........

I could swear I smelt fried meat in while the service was about to begin, so I traced the scent as my instincts instructed and I found out it came from the church's waste pit, what amazed me was the fact that the pit was decorated!, plates containing fried chicken were laid down as if a party was been held, as a child of God, I knew it was wrong to touch any of the plate but something caught my attention...My name was written on a certain plate that contains the biggest meat which looks like a full grown mango. Seeing this, all resistance were broken and I picked up the meat from the plate, Uncle Shola!, are you with my Bible? My immediate younger sister asked from behind which made me quickly hid the meat I was about munching. Yes, it is inside Fola's bag I replied and signalled to her with my head to leave, I noticed she had this look on her face, like she was surprised or something, but I didn't care because there's a big meat waiting to be eaten in my pocket. Dipping my hand into my pocket, I held my meat, but it was softer than I could remember and a liquid was oozing out of it as I try to have a firm grasp of it, bringing the meat out of my pocket my eyes saw miracle...The nice smelling meat I thought I was holding some seconds ago turned into a spoilt mango, the well decorated pit turned out to be a mess filled with wastes of different categories ranging from torn bibles to baby diapers..

Let me introduce myself to you all. My name is Daniel Adeshola, first child of a family of five, which consists of my dad Mr Daniel my mum Mrs Daniel and two sisters Bola and Fola, I'm a little bit fair in complexion, somehow intellectual and very good in sports.
Brother Shola, won't you wake up ni? My immediate younger sister asked, it is 6:30 already and you're still in bed, opening my eyes halfway I checked the wall clock on the wall and I found out I was 30 minutes late, I immediately rushed out of the room and went to the bathroom straight, mum was in the kitchen cooking and humming softly to herself, I muttered an inaudible greeting to her and she replied with a nod. So you decided to wake up Abi? She queried, your sister had been trying to wake you for the past 20 minutes and you remained in bed. I had no time for dialogue because I was late already, yesterday was actually full of fun, I told mum I wanted to get the solution to an assignment from Tunji my friend who lives some streets away from us, on getting to Tunji’s house I Met him getting ready to go out, after exchanging pleasantries he told me he was about leaving to attend a friend’s birthday party and asked if I could accompany Him,at first I didn’t agree but after a little persuasion him I agreed To accompany Him with A condition that we won’t stay for long which he accepted at once. …getting To the Party, the Celebant hugged Him and had a handshake with me after this she ushered us ino the main arena.. I Was shocked! Girls Were almost Nude,hiphop music was blaring from stereos, we were served drinks which I Was initially afraid of taking but when I felt the others would see me as a weakling I started sipping the beer I was given promising myself I won’t take moe than one cup, but gradually I started enjoying the drink and within a few minutes I was on the Second bottle ,Tunji Was amazed Seeing me drinking like A pro, if I’m not mistaken I think I drank Up to Five bottles of beer and I still felt like taking more But Tunji Announced that It was Time to leave so I had to stop anticipating for my sixth bottle of beer.. I Got Home around 7pm after after licking as possible tomtoms Tunji Could smuggle for me from His mum’s shop, what honestly surprised me was the fact that Tunji didn’t joined us in drinking at the Party. Getting Home, I gave Some excuses for coming late and went directly into my room without taking dinner and slept off immediately My back Touched the bed. I guess it was The alcohol I took yesterday that Made me overslept This morning ………..

Getting to Tinko the Mad woman's hub on Our Way home after school, we Started chanting Her praises “Tinko Tinko, Eja nla to gbe Jonah mi” which Made her happy AnD she started dancing in a style I’d call a madman’s style! It’s not a good thing to be mad o, I said admist laughter And as we were about leaving Tinko mentioned my name which made the three of us Turned immediately with amusement written all over our Faces because there’s no way on earth Tinko could know my name. With A Stern look On Her face She pointed At me And spoke like A normal Human, her words were “Shola, O MA Ya were ni! “ (Shola! You’ll run mad!)
