Going by the last senatorial bye-election, Adeleke won 9LG out of the 10LG under osun west senatorial district. So far, he has won 3LG (Ede South, Ede north & isokan) out of the 8LG announced so far under his district.

The collation of election results is not an easy work.
So far, in 19 LGs including Ejigbo, Iwo Atakunmosa West, Ife South and Irewole LGs
APC : 155,876
PDP : 178,542

It looks dice for both leading parties.
Update: Ife North votes just came in.
In 20 LGs:
APC : 162,403
PDP: 184,028

Seems like this election has been free and fair.

I was just reading about Nigerian empires today and was shocked to discover Ife has about 800 years of recorded history; Benin, 1,100; Oyo, 650 years. Not to even mention the Northern empires with over 1500 years of recorded history.

It says a lot why these two sections of the country have better political acumen than the rest of the country.

Thumbs up to Osun people. Peaceful election so far.
