what I noticed in osogbo is that pdp got mores votes than 4 years ago, judging by the polling unit results, sdp is really a spoiler for both parties, but Apc apparently won,
the margin, I don't know but not the landslide it was in 2014

He had over 40% of total votes in election in 2014 against a strong Aregbesola . A weaker APC and unpaid civil servants salaries in 2018 would have changed the equation. It would have been wiser for PDP to lose Adeleke than let Omisore leave.

But if he is so popular why did he do well only in his I've base ? in fact Apc even won one LG

Let's do some mathematics on Ilesha East votes.
In 2014, APC won by 10k margin.
APC also won Ilesha West by 10k margin

In 2018, APC won Ilesha West by only 1k votes

My conclusion, don't expect APC winning by more than 2k votes margin in Ilesha East

Ilesa East have always been APC. Even when it was red for Akande in 2003 he still got more vote In Ilesa East and Ilesa East is more populated.I thought PDP won Ilesa West.
