Following the governorship election which held yesterday in Osun state, supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have gathered at the state headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Osogbo, to celebrate their they termed as “victory” ahead of the official announcement by the electoral body. 

Chanting songs of victory, such as ‘ose ose o, ose o, ose baba’ (meaning ‘thank you, thank you, thank you, father’), the supporters danced from side to side lined up on the streets while security officials watched from afar, in a trending video posted online. Watch below.

According to results of the 19 local governments announced so far by INEC, Ademola Adeleke, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), boasts a slight lead over Isiaka Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

From the data collated so far, PDP's Adeleke is leading his APC contender by 11,172 votes, a honourable mention would be the SDP candidate Omisore,who put up a good fight at Ife Central and East.

I see SDP as the Winner
