It depends really. Gambling is fun to me. Same way people enjoy smoking, drinking or chasing women, I am proud to say my only vice is gambling . The tension and all makes watching football worthwhile. Provided your sibling has a good source of income, I honestly see no harm in it if it is not done in excess, like we see people gambling away their lives daily on this thread.

The problem in gambling is with people who can barely feed themselves, with no job whatsoever gambling away their meager resources with the hope of becoming millionaires overnight. That to me is the fastest route to depression, suicidal thoughts, poverty and frustrations.
