I can't believe it took me this long to see this awesome movie. I was kinda skeptic at first of seeing a particular movie for 3hours plus but this movie really change my notion on that, & the most amazing part of it all was that I was hooked up till the very end. Am off to download the remaining sequels.

Jesus! This guy keep coming back to Golden Globe ish that use a different system and criteria to nominate movies and tv shows. Golden Globe is primarily a tv show award that also recognizes movies in few selected categories. Like the other guy already said, there must have been an element of comedy in the film to warrant it's nomination in that comedy category. Nevertheless, it doesn't change the fact that the film belongs to horror genre, and that's exactly where the numeruono of all awards ceremony, the Academy awards, will place it.

Unfortunately, the Academy awards did place it in Horror category.

People are rarely objective when it comes to their product. It's normal to advertise your product as a groundnut oil, when it's really a vegetable oil. Now, it's up to you as a consumer to give your own personal opinion. Only fools take marketer's words as law. Upgrade in this vein, passed muster. From the first 5 mins to the last, it was obvious that the plot is sci-fi driven:
- STEM...
- Talking Self-driving car...
- Modded assassins...
- Drones...
- Etc...
There is no doubt it's a sci-fi, just as advertised.

Then Get Out. It may have initially been marketed as a comedy, but the plot is anything but. I don't remember laughing one bit, did you? That's Univesal Studios merely following the reliable course of human nature by overselling their product. Professional critics said it's horror, consumers said it's horror, Oscars said it's horror. Only your royal dumbness will rather stand by the opinion of very bias movie studio that apparently thought their movie is the next best thing since slice bread. I mean, they couldn't even stick to one genre for crying out loud (one second, it's a documentary, the next, it's a comedy, then, it's a speculative thriller...), and the saddest part is you lapping it all up like the idiot you're.

Bro, an Aba shoemaker can decide to market his self-made shoes as Gucci, does it make a Gucci shoe? Absolutely not. 1. Universal, according to you, submitted it as a comedy.
2. Peele, the director immediately rejected that notion.
3. Universal, aware of their gaffe and cluelessness changed the genre to Speculative Thriller. Another confusion from Universal. This showed that they're clueless.
4. Peele then decided to join in the comedic show by labelling it a documentary which IMHO, it's not. Get Out had absolutely nothing to do with documentary.
5. Peele having realized he's clueless and wrong in labeling it a documentary, then took foolishness to a whole different level by saying it had no genre. That right there shows Peele was high on crack when he said that because no movie ever made doesn't fit into a genre.
