Hello Nairalanders

was here sometime ago and am back.

Currently preparing for the building of a low cost 3 or 5 bedroom bungalow and needs your inputs with regards to what to expect.

anyone here have something like quantity of materials required e.g 5 trucks of sharp sand, 300 bags of cement, etc.

land size is 1 plot.
I plan molding blocks rather than buying blocks as most of what i see are not strong plus molding is cheaper also.
I plan working with builders but need to know what to expect .

would appreciate your inputs and experienced people can drop their numbers to be called.

sorry but since this is a low budget project, i won't be able to work with big companies .

Would really appreciate it also if anyone having links to relevant threads can drop them here.
