Hello everyone,

After seeing the website I designed for a professional association, I have about five requests for small business websites.

I wanted to refer them to a hosting company but the owner is also hosting on another platform.

Funny enough, I don't know how to start a hosting company. Please could you enlighten me on what to do? Is it the same as what is known as having a reseller account?

I would also appreciate the pros and cons from anyone who is experienced.

Here in Nigeria, just very few people actually do Web hosting. What they do is what's called Reseller hostings.

Starting a hosting business means you understand certain technology, have the resources are able to offer round the clock support.

But which ever way, get in touch.

you need the app for hosting as a reseller. that is what most Nigerians do. they are resellers .

Since you have already designed a website for a professional organization, I suppose you are aware of hosting platforms, etc. For your new requests for small-biz websites, you just need to find a reseller you can work with. You could as well sign up with the big names: Hostgator, GoDaddy.
