Buhari At The UN: Licking The Feet Of UN Leaders To Avoid Embarrassment by crazynation(f): 12:14am On Sep 27, 2018
The President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari tended to other world leaders at the United Nationals General Assembly in New York on Tuesday.

Not surprisingly, Buhari is great at laud singing since his void and cluelessness can't gauge with whatever is left of the world. It works for him to acclaim and expresses worries at the emergency devastating different nations like Syria and Yemen, however, trivializes the killings in his own nation.

At the UN on Tuesday, the President commended President Donald Trump and Chairman Kim Jong-un for their commitment to world peace, asking the two leaders to proceed with the positive commitment.

What Buhari tells every other person is the characteristics he lacks as a leader. He is as hardened as a stone, cries like a wolf and chomps like a furious hyena. The day by day demise recorded in his nation of origin are overlooked by the present administration, especially the large number of killings credited to the President's children, the Fulani Herdsmen and the sudden spake and increased assaults by the Boko Haram extremists.

As the 2019 election approaches, one would think that Buhari would all of a sudden becomes more pleasant and all the more accommodating but he stays resolved and relies upon his strategies including his relations at the Independent National Electoral Commission.ahead of the race.

Expressing regret about some lingering threats to peace and security around the world, the President noted that in some cases, matters got worse. “The continuing plight of the Rohingyas in Myanmar, the protracted Israeli/Palestinian conflict, the wars in Yemen, and Syria, and the fight against international and local terrorism such as Boko Haram and Al-Shabaab come to mind,” he said.

As indicated by President Buhari, “The terrorist insurgencies we face, particularly in the Sahel and the Lake Chad Basin, are partly fuelled by local factors and dynamics, but now increasingly by the international Jihadi Movement, runaway fighters from Iraq and Syria and arms from the disintegration of Libya.

One of the reasons Buhari came to power was the desire that he has the way to tackling the internal crisis of the nation and conveying a complete halt to the insecurity of the nation, notwithstanding, the President with his non-verbal communication, many trusts he only cares about his kin (the north) who don't provoke him.

During April meeting with Donald Trump, the President bluntly denied that the Fulani herdsmen carry gun "I am very grateful to the United States for agreeing to give us the aircraft we asked for, we are even more grateful for the physical presence of the United States military that has gone to our institutions and trains them, and go to the front to see how they are performing. So, the commitment of the United States to get rid of terrorism across the world and we are very grateful. The problem of cattle rearers and herders in Nigeria is a very long historical thing. The Nigerian herders never carry anything more than a stick and occasionally a machete to cut down foliage and give it to their animals"

The President ascribed the sudden carriage of weapon to the crisis that prompted the demise of the previous President Muammar Gadaffi.

In his two days visit in Bauchi State in the same April, the President faulted the herders' barbarities on education. He said he could have been fighting against the farmers if he wasn't education even though he could not provide his primary school certificate.

“Make every effort to put your children in school, plead with them to be patient and read hard. In this generation, you cannot make it except you trusts.

“Now, look at the farmers /herdsmen’s clashes in the northern part of this country. I have been telling people that if I had not gone to school, I would not have gone into the military and where I come from since my cows are finished; maybe, I would have been involved in this fight." He said.

In June, Buhari flared those pointing the finger at him for the killings in Benue State. He portrayed it as an injustice against his individual neglecting that he remains the leader of his administration and Benue individuals had quite recently lost more than 86 individuals with no news of police capturing the guilty parties.

The present herder, I am told, carries AK47 and people are even blaming me for not talking to them because maybe (they say) I look like one of them. There is some injustice in these aspersions,'' he said in a statement released by his aide Garba Shehu."

At the UN, clearly, Buhari gives what he doesn't have to the leaders. He needs sympathy, initiative, convenience, compassion and his pride is taller than his stature. To abstain from being questioned by different leaders, the President has a tendency to apply "lick his feet" approach.

Calling on the international community to strengthen its resolve to combat ethnic and religious cleansing everywhere, the President expressed Nigeria’s support for “the UN’s efforts in ensuring that the Rohingya refugees are allowed to return to their homes in Myanmar with security, protection, and guarantee of citizenship. We note the indication by the Government of Myanmar of its willingness to address these issues and we encourage them to do so expeditiously.”

While paying tributes to the late seventh UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, Buhari showered him with all the attributes that he lacks, According to him, “We in Africa, while mourning the loss of this great son of ours and citizen of the world, take pride in the way he served humanity in a truly exemplary manner. He demonstrated, in his calm but determined manner, the virtues of compassion, dedication to the cause of justice, fairness and human rights. He was a visionary leader who inspired hope even in the face of the most daunting challenges. He devoted his entire life’s career to the UN and the pursuit of its ideals and goals. The world is indeed a better place thanks to his exemplary service.”

On the first of September, Boko Haram invaded an army base in Zari close to the fringe with Niger, two military sources told AFP and more than 30 soldiers were reported to have been killed.

Till today, the President never addressed the media nor did he show concern to many reports with tens of casualties after that.

Regardless of whether Nigerians will bear an additional 4 long years of the uncertainty, division, the breakdown of lawfulness, hyper nepotism, terrorizing, abuse and nonchalance for the rule of law relies upon the impudence to secure their votes and oppose each move by the appointive body to trade off the voice of the general population, it likewise relies upon how hungry the Nigerian individuals will go to upturn their rights for a bit of pie.

The President has nothing to campaign on as the nation is more terrible than it was in 2015, the people are enduring, corruption more awful than the past administration and the economy is in total debt as the present administration borrowed more than what the Peoples Democratic Party's government obtained in 16 years.

Interesting read. Indeed 2015 would go down as d year Nigeria got cursed with retrogression, redundancy and instability. The year Nigeria voted in a lifeless dullard to pilot its affairs to oblivion. The year Nigerians signed up for four years of suffering, poverty, insecurity and death.

Has he met with any of the world leaders? He was busy praising Trump for enhancing world peace whereas his nation is been ravaged with ethno-religious crisis.

With the way the Nigerian nation is going, we will never produce any leader. So far we haven't and we ain't ready yet.

Those that voted this lifelessness and getting ready again, you will all be put to shame as PMB has shamed Nigerians.
