that's osun people for you, they will tell you point blank that they don't want you in their domain again, that is the message they sent on Saturday, September 22. also they will pursue it to their conclusion. oyetola is a imposed candidate that will surely stand the test of time. the will of the people speak, the will of the people will prevail. they should ask Oyinlola then.

Who celebrates failure?

It is an indication that the result doesn't reflect the true situation. Majority voted for the other parties but due to mathematical wizardry of the Electoral Commission which is by the way not independent, the mandate of the people was given to another.

You are a liar!

I am in Oshogbo. I just heard of a man who was killed for speaking against the ruling party. I have driven all over town all i see is army men posted at junctions, parks and the spare parts market at Ajegunle.

Post pictures to back up your claim.

LIAR!

It's a known fact the rec, Mr agbaje is bonafide apc member, he was transfered back to osun some months ago, he was the rec that coordinated aregbes's 2014 victory,i expected the opposition parties to demand his transfer from osunn before the election but they all kept mute for reasons best known to them, it's a pity inec is no longer independent under this apc regime ...
Racoon:
Who celebrates such a electoral robbery? Even Gboyega himself & the APC including their zomies fully knows they have only won a phyrric victory hence they cant do that.Of course APC knows what is cooking for them as far as this is concern.

Imagine INEC legalizing this brazen illegality angry The rec.was asked to correct the obvious anormaly from the last Sat.main election & all he could say is go to the tribunal.

Let no one by deceived by some vain acts of contriteness. The people of Osun voted in the APC government. They alone made that decision. They cannot pretend it was under duress as someone was trying to suggest to me. Elections remain clandestine and they had an opportunity to contact law enforcement if they were intimidated. They made a profound choice and sent the wrong message to power.

Femi Makinde, Osogbo

The streets of Osogbo and other major towns in Osun State have remained calm, devoid of jubilation by supporters of the All Progressives Congress despite the declaration of the candidate of the party, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, as the winner of the governorship election.

Our correspondent observed that the kind of wild jubilation that usually follows such electoral victory is lacking in the state.

As of 10:45 am, Olaiya Junction, which is usually the meeting point for protest and jubilation was clam but security men were stationed there to prevent the breakdown of the law and order especially from residents who believed that the election was openly rigged in favour of Oyetola.

Army patrol vans are stationed at Okefia Motor park and other volatile areas in a bid to prevent protest which some people believe may trail the announcement of the poll results.

The candidate of the Propels Democratic Party, Senator Ademola Adeleke, led in the first ballot by 353 votes but the APC candidate came from behind to win the poll amidst allegations of intimidation of voters and brazen rigging with the cooperation of security agents.

Local and foreign observers and many residents of the state have criticised the APC led Federal Government over the election.

The residents would celebrate ONLY if DAVIDO is ready to sing & ADELEKE is ready to dance. tongue

Landslide victory? They are telling you the victory is through rigging and you are calling the people... which people? Or you don't know the meaning of rigging?
Tolexander:
Something must be wrong with this news.

The news reported Osogbo as being calm, but the result states APC having landslide victory.

How come the town where a candidate had his heaviest vote reported being devoid of happiness?

The report seems being an irony of the event.
