The Tribunal said the PDP did not query the entire result in their petition as such they can't demand for a recount of the total number of votes.

They definitely can request for a recount of the polling units they challenged the result in their petition.

The PDP and it's legal team has made a mess of the case. Don't pass the buck to the Tribunal.

The Ekiti Governorship Election Petition Tribunal today, dismissed INEC MotionEPT/GOV/01/M12/2018 seeking the setting aside earlier order granted in favour of the petitioners to inspect all Electoral Materials, particularly the Card Readers.

The Tribunal ordered that petitioners can inspect the Electoral materials from now till October 31.

Meanwhile, the Tribunal had earlier today, dismissed the petitioners application to recount ballots

This is an election petition tribunal for goodness sake.Oshiomole's case was reinforced by counting of the ballot during the Edo guber so what is the fuss about this
The counting would be done in court of course.Even if more evidence will be sought after or detected nothing amiss even as both sides sought to establish their cases.
The tribunal is obviously going bias in this regard.However justice will be served as when due.The higher courts are still there to adjucate on this matter. So no hiding place for anyone

how long will that be rom tribunal to appeal to supreme considering our slow judicial system

Did you remember this when wife of Peter Odili ex PDP Governor in Rivers state was appointed as one of the justices that delivered verdict during the APC vs PDP ( Wike vs Dakuku Peterside)Governorship election. You people only cry when narrations don't favour you.

PDP are shaping up as the most unserious opposition anybody can think of...

It is unnerving to see an opposition pitted against a vindictive tyrant like Buhari conduct its affairs with levity...

They would be watching like fools only to come out and bleat after the damage has been done... Who does that?

It will be very difficult for PDP to win any court case on election matter because they are not used it b4,what they used to was to rigged and other party will go to court.

So they didn't know the concrete evidence needed to prove their case beyond every reasonable doubt,they are naive when it come to court case.

Obviously the court was right. To allow for a total recount at the earliest stage of the petition would be tantamount to a situation of "fishing for evidence". I agree with the learned judge that the right of inspection is what can obtain not a recount in the circumstance. The ratio of the court is clear given the state of the petitioner's pleadings more so that it appeared they failed to claim that it was the totality of the polling units that were inescapably affected so as to be entitled to their onerous prayer of a recount before the trial proper. On the whole, it is trite law that parties are entitled to inspection of election materials as used i.e ballot paper (not a recount) in the circumstances of this case wherein a part (not whole) is been challenged of the votes casts. Conclusively, I think the PDP can do better.

I'm more pro APC than PDP but above all, I'm for change of status quo, progress and justice.
That it happens before doesn't give credibility to it happening now.
