Yeah, because the Corolla will be way more reliable than the Passat. I hate Corollas, but let's not act like they aren't the best selling car model in the world for a reason.

the question is can you even maintain the Passat ?
everyone knows benz depreciates but they buy it with millions . same for range rover and co.

just say you dislike the passat because you don't have first hand experience with it.
Fùck the corolla. The passat will be just as reliable as any car if you maintain it the right way.
the people who spend $200,0000 on the sclass which is not very rugged and they sell for a fraction of the cost in few years i guess they are stupid lol.

Most of them have only every used Toyota/Honda but they keep condemning what they have never used.
A friend still uses a 1996 passat, bought toks over 8 years ago,serviced with our usual 20w- 50
Car is still doing great.. He still travels with it
