Those advising Ambode against Tinubu are trying to wreck him totally. You can't condemn a system than produced you. If not for the Tinubu and APC structure, one on one Jimi Agbaje is head and shoulder above Ambode and would have defeated him a thousand times over.
One thing neophytes don't know about Lagos politics and Tinubu's Leadership is that, tinubu is an ordinary man controlling an extraordinary loyal armies of lieutenants in charge of the nooks and crannies of Lagos (Aregbe - Alimosho, Ganiyu Solomon - Mushin, Obanikoro - mainland etc), strip tinubu of this men and he will be stark naked, Obasanjo tried it by signing Obanikoro . You can afford to offend Tinubu, his lieutenants will plead on your behalf (as in the case of fashola) , But when you collectively offends this lieutenants then Tinubu will have to choose between you and his loyal foot soldiers. Your guess is as good as mine.
Ambode will just end like Pedro, Akerele and Obanikoro.
Apc card carrying members, Agberos, Market women and artisan group are enough to give APC victory at the polls.

Tinubu should realize that if Ambode loses the Primaries tomorrow and defects to another Party ( AD, ADP or SDP ), APC and the Sanwo guy will lose the Governorship elections in 2019. Ambode will get sympathy votes and the PDP might actually win the election. Personally, I feel Ambode should join ADP or SDP and test his popularity with Lagosians at the ballot box. Many Lagosians are already seeing Tinubu as a selfish man. I feel it is time for Lagos State to be liberated from a dominant political party.

In a retrospect ,Tinubu did the man a favour by imposing him on the party and we all believed that he did well but for him to decide he won't support him again ,there must be more to this new stand . After all Fasola was allowed to go for 2 terms but Ambode seemed to have shot himself in the leg because of his inability to build relationships with those who put him in position. This is a very big lesson in life. We also must ask question why many party leaders are still loyal to Jagaban . Shop alone and die alone politics isn't good oo!

There are more than 10 candidates better than Ambode when he was picked, so he gained from this system and shouldn't complain.

Some years ago, Fashola wanted to sack Ambode because he didn't trust him. He called a tortoise. Jagaban refuses, he (jagaban) make him the chosen one again the person fashola picked. For those who follow history of APC very well, both men didn't attend the primary that brought Ambode in. Fashola however said the golden son will betray baba. If you recall, Fashola didn't trust the guy even when he wrote to FG to give him permission to repair airport road, fashola refuses but later cave-in when the Presido said he should. Ambode has wrong a lot of people in a wrong way, from his wife slapping the pastor, with the husband sending the pastor out without due process, fighting his competitors in the same party and not listening to the wise counsel. What he did today, he shouldn't have done it, he should have waited and see how lagosians will react after the primary. I like the man but he disappointed me today with his utterances when ur rival haven't said a word against u in public. He is acting desperately and hope he won't go the way of the Pedro's.

Buhari sees Tinubu as a corrupt man.

The same goes with Comrade Adams Oshiomole who sees Tinubu as doing what he hates which is GODFATHERISM.

You would recall how Comrade Adams Oshiomole fought the Godfather in Edo state such as Tony Anenih, Tom Ikimi and many others.

Comrade Oshiomole never godfathered his successor in the person of Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state.

Why is Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu practising godfatherism in more modern time especially in a cosmopolitan environment like Lagos state that is considered to be a mini Nigeria or pan Nigeria so to speak.

Who even godfathered Tinubu? When he came back from self imposed NADECO exiled in Britain he had a free hands to run the affairs of Lagos state.

Now he is busy remote controlling governors who do not want to do his bidding.

Unlike Tinubu, Comrade Adams Oshiomole gave governor Obaseki a free hand to run the affairs of Edo state without much interference.

You only see Comrade Oshiomole show up during political rally. Comrade Oshiomole left the good people of Edo state to decides whether they want governor Obaseki administration to continue or be voted out.

Tinubu should not see Comrade Adams Oshiomole silence on the political friction Tinubu is having with governor Akinwunmi Ambode as weakness.

Comrade Adams Oshiomole is only keeping quiet because he want to accord Tinubu a well deserving respect of which Tinubu must reciprocate with a forgiven heart.

Ambode should stand strong. If you can rule lagos successfully, you can rule Nigeria.

If you are the governor of any state, don't come and be telling me about one yeye godfather wey never change hand yet. A real leader helps the next leader when needed, for the interest of all. A good governor is suppose to look at plans of the previous governor and make a case for change when fit.

. As long as there is almighty God, Tinubu cannot wreck Ambode ship. Enough is enough of Godfatherism that does not allowed us to have true democracy .
