Tragedy struck in the quiet community of Shimawa in Ogun state after a fresh secondary school graduate simply identified as Ogechi and a 15-year old, Emmanuel, were allegedly killed by a thunder strike.. The incident happened on Sunday, September 30th. According to Abiodun Adewole (Mr Double A) of Splash F.M, who shared the report after speaking with the bereaved mother of one of the deceased, it was gathered that her son Emmanuel left the church after the end of the service but went to a football field rather than going home. The mother said; "I only received a call that Emmanuel is dead as a result of thunder strike". The heartbroken mother further stated that 14 people were on the football field but only 3 people were affected. Ogechi and Emmanuel were reportedly killed as the third person identified as Segun was restored by native doctors who allegedly traced the cause of the shocking incident. It was alleged that Segun stole money and gave Emmanuel N100 to get soft drink for his friend, Ogechi before he gave the remaining N30 change to Emmanuel. It was said that the owner of the stolen money allegedly invoked Sango, the god of thunder to strike the person/persons responsible - - as an act of revenge (this was reportedly revealed by Sango worshippers who were invited after the incident). According to the journalist, the mother who was sobbing throughout their phone conversation, revealed that Sango worshippers performed some rites following the death of her son. The incident was aired on Splash F.M 105.5 earlier today, leaving most people shocked. We are so foolish in Africa. Haba, somebody stole 100bucks due to hunger or whatever, you invoked Sango. Why can't you do that for our greedy leaders and let Nigeria have peace so that poor boy will have food to eat? Africa, black in and out. #nosense@all |

xbernardx:No. The third law of tribalism clearly states that one can take sides against the opposing tribe even when his kinsman is wrong. Sango took advantage here. It's left for Amadioha to retaliate for Osu jews. Afonja 1 - 0 Osu Jews |

royalamour:you left out the politicians. Nigeria are now use to news of Nigerians dying, see as people just dey joke with this serious matter. I just pity the mother of those two kids. I fear Ogun,Sango and ayelala worshipers. If you steal anything, and the owner talk say he go carry the thief matter go meet ayelala, abeg o,make you return the thing back with begging and add money on top sef. Ayelala is more brutal than Ogun and sango, the person do die slowly while every part of your body swell up. |
