The President of Nigeria, His Excellency Mohammedu Buhari through the Federal Ministry of Education has addressed the issues concerning the proposed hike in fuel prices to the tune of N350000.

It could be recalled that a few days ago, there were some speculations that the Federal Government is trying to increase the tuition fees of federal universities across the federation. Though this statement was credited to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), it created some panic amongst the students, lecturers and parents alike. https://schoolpluscareer.com/blog/2018/10/05/tuition-fees/

In view of this development, the President through the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education was forced to react to the situation. According to the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Sonny Echono, “President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the ministry of education along with the ministry of finance to jointly organise a workshop on a very sustainable and workable recommendation of funding education in Nigeria.”
