Nope. We have more HQS and investment because our workforce is well -trained. When you talk investment - we have been leading source of investment in the region - for more than two decades now - and really apart from 1 or 2 "wild card" reports that you keep quoting here - TZ is always almost at the bottom of any index out there...and cannot compete with kenya. Nigeria the giant mess of Africa have already coiled their tails btw their legs Again you cannot compare you' poorly trained manpower with kenya best of Sahara work force ![]() Recently Vodafone/Vodacom appointed Kenya lady Sylivia Mulinge to head your Vodacom TZ and despite us being part of East Africa Community - you went ahead to deny her a work permit. You actually prefered to go for Egyptian than a kenya . The whole nation of Lazy people of Tanzania pulled all stops to stop this poor girl.https://www.nation.co.ke/business/Vodacom-Tanzania-says-Sylvia-Mulinge-denied-work-permit-/996-4782542-uvmkhvz/index.html Of course - our competitive work-force will never lack jobs - I can give one example Daego - one of world biggest Brewers --- here are 4 kenyans that are top managers across the world. 1) Peter Ndegwa Named First African Diageo Head in Europe - Yes a Kenyan is CEO of Daego in Continential Europe & Russia . Formerly he was Nigeria Guinnness CEO. Nigeria didn't deny him a work permit. For the first in the history of Diageo plc. Peter Ndegwa will be the first African to be at the helm of company’s business operations in Continental Europe and Russia as General Manager a role he assumed in July. Peter takes up his new role in Amsterdam, Netherlands after serving as the chief executive officer of Guinness Nigeria Breweries for a period of three ears which saw the company boost its sales by a huge a margin 2) Gerald Mahinda -formerly EABL CEO - now CEO Brandhouse in South Africa - joint venture btw Daegoe and Brad. 3) Ndegwa was replaced by another Kenya in Lagos - CEO of Nigeria Guinness is Kenyan Baker Maganda. 4) The CEO of Ghana Guiness is another kenya That is just one multinational. Of course Kenyans ran the show in Daegeos operation regionally in East Africa.Majority of these CEOS are gradutes of the University of Nairobi - I few exception like Mahinda (MIT) - Kenyans now are easily the majority of Africa students in Ivy Leagues schools of the USA. Kenya professionals are sought after because of our high quality of education, hard work & productivity, proffesionalism and our well-spoken English. Who will hire a lazy, dim-witted, petty and jealous Tanzanian outside Tanzania. In fact if it wasn't for work permit restriction in your country- all those foreign companies of Tanzania would hire kenyans in boatloads. Kazikazi: |

Nigeria will never be a better country till the injustices suffered by the Niger Delta population is remedied. Every amount spent that is gathered from oil revenues is basically cursed blood money. Let someone deal with the justice situation so Nigeria may survive. |

Hati13:Interesting, nice songs. What I actually meant was a single song in which different Ethiopian languages were featured, like an Amharic singer featuring an Oromo singer and singing one song together, something like that. Do you understand any of the words in the Oromo, Gurage or Harari musics? |

Are u forced to be gays? Now know this; Tanzania dont compete with kenya. Its useless to compete with gays, people who worship a white man.No no no way.you are a shame to Africa.

Kazikazi:For just one Tanzanian, you are terribly dealing with the Kenyans here, exposing their lies and ignorance one after the other. I can't imagine what would have happened if there were as many Tanzanians as Kenyans here, all the Kenyans would have been silenced and perpetually disgraced. Keep up the good work. To be honest, I have nothing against Kenyans, but I just wonder why they enjoy bragging about their 3rd world country. All of Africa share a 3rd world status and until we can catch up with the rest of the world, we shouldn't be bragging to each other. Rather, we should be in this together. Kenyans have a strong self esteem issue and I hope they get help sooner. To be honest, I'm shocked about many facts you've been bringing up about Tanzania. I knew Tanzania wasn't as bad as Kenyans were painting it to be cos I see you guys from the media. Just that Kenyans have always been hammering on us how terrible Tanzania was and people like us have been gradually falling for their lies. Thank you for the correct informations once again. Hati13:What in your opinion might happen if Oromos get to dominate? Not sure why the topic was trending on Kenya's tweetsphere but I suspect its due to Ethiopians living in Kenya plus the Kenyan Oromos and of course the delegates Yes, Kenyans do follow developments in Ethiopia mainly due to Oromia situation. At some point it was looking like getting out of hand and some Kenyan govt officials were beginning to get jittery. But you guys have done an excellent job on the matter. In some way the election of Abiy has been some light onto Kenyans concerning marginalized communities because we also tend to have such issues. |

What will happen once the new Mombasa cruise ship terminal is complete in a year's time is anyone's guess. ednited:Hey Ednited, yes of course we consider Oromos as Kenyans. The Kenyan Oromos are a very tiny minority you might never meet one. Something like 30,000. By attention I hope you mean measures to lift them from poverty or to make them more politically visible. If so, then they dont get any special attention. They live like everybody else in the far flung areas with the biggest benefit being an equalization fund that is given to all poor counties as per the constitution. |

Kazikazi:Why do you think multinational firms in your country prefer to employ Kenyans? In fact were it not for your draconian labor laws all multinational firms in your country would sack Tanzanians and employ Kenyans. English is the global language of Trade, unfortunately. Its the Latin of our times, thanks to Great Britain and the mighty USA. Even Germans and other Europeans usually find themselves in this embarrassing fix where their people need to learn English than the other way round. In major tourneys like the Fifa WC or UCL they use "SAY NO TO RACISM" for instance. Not some Chinese or Russian. You are way too insignificant in that backwater to think you will get yourself anywhere without English. |

Typical Mombasa County Government officials meeting. Evidently great strategists. Mombasa has become Africa's leading destination for (HNWI) High Net Worth Individuals. A report by New World Wealth, the Africa Wealth Report 2018 released a few days ago says Mombasa is the favorite destination for Tourism Billions in Africa. Mombasa has some of the most expensive beach houses and villas selling for as much as Sh1.4 billion apiece (USD 14000000). Demand for offices and residences to let or buy in Mombasa has seen its prices per square metre rise to Sh170,000 (USD 1,700) becoming the seventh most expensive and most sought after city in Africa. https://www.nation.co.ke/business/Mombasa-a-magnet-for-high-net-worth-people/996-4784472-158uywtz/index.html
