I guess so.
Hence people were swindled with “Change”.
A worse Change. An economically debilitating “change”.
Haha... the all too typical response one gets whenever the deliberate deceit is busted; "where is the change?"

The point I was trying to make was simple, is it too difficult for people to do the honourable thing by speaking the truth?

If you acknowledge that Mr A was filthy before Mr B, why then do you keep twisting the narrative by claiming Mr B is the inventor of this filth?.... If you acknowledge that the exact undemocratic events we see today also happened under GEJ, why then do you keep peddling the lie that we had a democracy yesterday but the democract is being killed by buhari today?.... How exactly do you feel when you knowingly tell that lie with a straight face?

big trash. Buhari and co carry placards? Peaceful protest my foot. They were harassed and prevented frm having a lawful protest even teargassed whc wasn't so during buba protest else wouldn't have been same. And on show of strength 'Lifeless' buba cannot have strength to show

This was protest against the postponement of 2015 general election by the INEC and more so supported by John Kerry (US sec of state). His will you protest the outcome of election you already dragged to the tribunal? It's undemocratic and law desecration.

I have never said Mr A was perfect. Far from it.
Being called a "democrat" does not, of course mean one is perfect. The United States is a democracy but the black man in the US will tell you otherwise- police brutality, institutionalised racism, prison industrial complex etc.
However, comparatively, one can easily place democracts and military men in different groups, in the Nigerian context. The military man, for instance, has no qualms in sending soldiers to brutalise civilians, as in Odi, Zaki Biam and Operation Python Dance in the South East. The democrat, however, will be hesitant in applying such despotic force because he is not a military man.
It is that simple.

Nigeria should be an evolving democracy- if it is to grow in democracy- where the next regime displays more commitment to democratic tenets than the previous one. Today, as widely agreed, it is not the case. The present regime has even boasted that the rule of law is secondary to what is called, "national security"- that amorphous, self-defining line.

As for asking for the "change", I think it is a fair question to ask. Even core APC persons have and are still asking the same thing.

Your point is duly noted. But I hope you got my own point?... the narrative should be better articulated next time; the narrative repeated on this thread by several persons makes it seem as though we had anything close to a democracy before now. That is obviously not the case.

God bless you!
This is exactly what should be called a “peaceful protest”
and not the show of physical strength the pdpigs_ clowns were trying to show the police . Clowns that said they were protesting ,without carrying a single placards. But resulted to blocking the road and screaming on top of their voices ,harassing the police and causing public nuisance.
Did u see any police man disturbing them? Nop I guess. That's democracy.

Trash trash trash
Why will police disturb them when they’re not causing public nuisance . They were not even shouting. They simply carried placards to display their message .
Your wailing just start o

Lol... diversion as usual... That's always what happens whenever fake assertions like those on this thread are busted... I was even expecting you to use the other very common response in situations like this "so where is the change?".... Oga learn to stick to the subject of the thread. That's how people fail exams. They ask 'A', you're answering 'B'

A lot of people on this thread kept ranting about how democracy has been killed by Buhari. I simply corrected that flawed notion that democracy was never alive; and something which was never alive can't be killed. If you want to get answers on whatever this regime has done right, go open another thread and try to contact members of APc for your answers.
well I asked a question of two lines, you've spent the whole day try to make a point. I never requested for term paper or project work. well don't bother about the questions. have a nice day

Some people find it very difficult to stay focused on the topic. In such circumstances, it becomes necessary to give them an epistle in hope that it might get them to comprehend. I doubt this approach even works for you still.

I gave an exhaustive answer to your question, explaining to you how you would have failed if it were an exam question you were answering. Topic dey talk of ABC, you dey ask question of 123; i.e. your question was off point. My advice to you was simple from the start, stick to the topic of discussion.
