I don't know he finds it so easy to deceive you guys.

That is a pure Afonja that you are discussing with. Nothing pains them more than the determination of Igbos to develop their area just as they are helping other Nigerians to develop Lagos, Abuja and Kano.

Ph is Ikwerre-Ijaw(Okrika) land. Obigbo is Igboland.

You need to go and sleep. Ikwerre people don't consider themselves Igbos. When Wike went and named the Ph stadium after Gowon, you don't need any prophet to tell you what more they have in the kitchen for you, it's akin to a supposedly Jewish people naming an infrastructure after Hitler.

Wike celebrated Rivers state golden anniversary, invited the Ooni and Sultan, but neither Obi of Onitsha or Eze Nri or Eze aro, were invited.

See the remark Wike made during the celebration :

“Many of us, who are now enjoying the fruits of liberty may not truly appreciate what it meant to be dominated, dispossessed, deprived, exploited and oppressed in your own land by the dominant social and political tendencies of the time.
“Before Rivers State was created, our people could not find schools in their neighbourhood, hospitals to treat the sick, universities to educate their children, decent jobs to earn income and good roads to their communities.”
http://sunnewsonline.com/rivers-at-50-a-celebration-of-liberation-wike/

In 2018, Wike and his Ikwerre people still see us as oppressors, even when no evidence of such oppression in Eastern region existed. Micheal Okpara was the one who built Trans Amadi industrial complex, he moved shell quarters from Owerri to Ph, no part of the East was neglected by Okpara. But today, we are being casted in the mould of oppressors. They name their structures after those who sought to exterminate us, in bid to spite us, they invite them to their events and not done, they had to make snide remarks about Ndiigbo.

https://www.naija.ng/1102724-ooni-ife-sultan-sokoto-storm-rivers-state-wike-celebrates-monarchs.html

These people had made no secret their feelings towards us, some one who sees you as an oppressor, while seeing your oppressors as friends, can never be a brother. Yet some naive Igbos like flies destined to perish that followed corpse to grave, wouldn't learn.

PH is not Igboland, it's bitter, but the truth is bitter, yet sets you free.

Ph airport, cannot serve for Ndiigbo and dont rep us, we would resist any attempt or argument that claims that PH airport can serve SE, Enugu airport will serve us. While Owerri airport would complement it.

That's how it should be.

Thank you for this. It’s getting nauseating seeing vagabonds trying to push port Harcourt down our throats.

The same place where igbo properties were taken in broad day light. Till today, none of those thieves have suffered any consequences. This means if the opportunity comes again, they will repeat that or do worse.

Yes nke anyi bu nke anyi but international airport cannot built in a state that doesn't have heavy industrial presence nor major economic activities. Lagos, Kano, Ph, all have good industrial and commercial presence.

We can be using PH International airport for now. FG cannot be forced to waste money and build an international airport where there's zero air traffic, i think that was why they corrected the mistake of Stella by removing Enugu state airport from the list.

A house divided against itself cannot stand.

Until Igbo people put their house in order, this is the order of the day and will continue.

I was screaming for much of this week becos i have come to the realization that we dont even pity ourselves.

There is a say, which goes by; onye uwa juru agar a ju onweya. (A person the world have rejected, should not also reject himself.)

Igbo keep rejecting themselves and crying everyday.

Those that reject dem, look at them and say, gosh, these ones are really stupid.

I have lost countless times on this forum that i have heard yoruba say igbos are easy to manipulate.

We are our own problem.

Chiemeke probably sees you as an oppressor whose people oppressed their people. While Gowon who carried out policy that nearly wiped out your people from the surface of the earth, is his hero.

You should learn to separate individual friendship from group dynamics. This was why IPOB was busy joining groups like Isoko,Itsekiri, Tiv, Igala, etc into Biafra project. Just because they have few friends from those areas who are Pro Biafrans. They never even thought to sample the opinion of the majority of those people back home.
The way some of you reason at times makes me wonder.

Igboland must develop. Eyes are finally opening to the reality of Nigeria.

I am hoping that we get past the stage of discussing all these side groups and concentrate on how to create a vibrant economy.

Igboland is still s shameful net importer of food. The saddest part of this tragedy is that foodstuff we import from fish to poultry to yams, tomatoes, rice, cassava, beans, etc can all be grown in Igboland! Everything agricultural product you import into Igboland, you have enriched someone and impoverished Igboland.

Yet our youths are jobless and land is uncultivated in many villages! We need to find a way to get our land in the villages useful to us economically by cultivating them. We need more unemployed youths to consider fish tanks and how to make well packaged smoked fish. We need the government of SE to consider making cashew plantations, orange plantations, palm tree plantations etc so that these products of these plantations help to generate IGR and keep many youths employed.

PH airport would only serve SS.
And I even see Edos rejecting it, as they have interest in building an air and Sea hub of their own. Which is why there is so much talk about Gelegele Seaport.

Enugu Airport is an international airport. A proud real Anambra woman made it so. And real Anambra people in life as well as other real Igbos in life , would always reject every attempt to use Ph airport as a substitute for Enugu international Airport.

Take a look at Ikwere and Ika people, they have nothing good to say about Ndiigbo.

Absolutely no respect wat so eva.

They rather look to Edo and Benin with admiration and respect.

It comes down to the way Igbo treat and represnt themselves as substandard.

Everybody want to make money out of Igbo people but none of them are investing in Igbo land or on Igbo People.

Instead Ndiigbo will use port Harcourt, let them use Lagos or Abuja until Enugu is concessioned.
