He'd be encouraged to go for Obi/Soludo/Iweala to show he's really on "economic rejuvenation" path but that combo won't work unfortunately.

Atiku will pick his running mate from south west so that he can win some states from south west so that what happened during Jonathan will not happen again because PDP denied south west top political office, From 1-10 no south west occupied any. Please South east should allow PDP to zone Vice President to south west for a good result in upcoming general election 2019. Atiku will win south east, south south and north central,the battle ground is south west.

I suggest Atiku picks his running mate from the South-West.
VP or no VP, the South-East and South-South are already solidly behind PDP.
We'd be content with senate presidency when Atiku becomes president in 2019.

Atiku is a megalomaniac when it comes to monopoly of power.

Nobody worships him in Nigeria but he considers himself too successful not to be worshipped. He has zero intelligence to add to politics, whether domestic or international. He is yearning to become a emperor that people worship, so his ambition for rulership is not at all altruistic.

In the choice of a deputy he will not go for a person with strong charisma or strength of character because the deputy could end up overshadowing him. He will not want to fight in his own presidency the same struggle he fought when Obasanjo suppressed his voice and persona as a deputy. He is also aware of the political risks involved in bringing in an Ibo to deputize, his administration will soon be Ibonized and then ruined. If at all he goes SE, it will only be Soludo, no one else. The bad side to that choice is Soludo is a loyal OBJanian.

In what areas of his public life has his tribal sentiments ever been tested and you obtained the proof that he is not tribal? Please share.
