Help Web Programmers , How Can I Achieve This by Immanuelar(op): 2:49pm On Oct 07, 2018
I have a website that has a blog in it. This is what I want to achieve. I want to create topics as an admin. In the textarea box where I will input the body of topic before posting. I want a situation where I can use html tags such as bold, italics and change font color on the textarea box and the output will be visible after posting the topic. thanks

Ordinarily, if you input HTML tags in the textarea, it should work without you needing to change anything.

HTML is actually interpreted by the browser, so saving HTML tags in your database alongside page contents will work as if the HTML tags were saved in a file.

Just the way you use slash, semicolon etc and they display in the browser.

HTML tags you input should work by default.

To add features like bold, italics etc.. Use a text editor on your textarea. . E.g CKeditor. .. Then on the blog use this to echo the output.. htmlspecialchar_decode
