Is it possible to live in missisuaga on minimum wage? Family of two. One parent, One child(7years old)

Parent will be in school for one year (part-time studies for career change ) while working full time. However tuition fee is fully paid and funds for small car to move around is available.

What happens to the other parent?

For Landing formalities, yes.
In practice, I don't know. You need to consider other factors. Have you confirmed the cost of train or cab from Montreal to Ottawa? Do you realize you will be landing in the dead of winter after a long flight?
Maybe landed seniors with knowledge of that route can advise better.

Hello friends,

I am heading for Ottawa in December 27th. Pls can I enter through Montreal? Seems the fare to Ottawa is twice that of Montreal.

Yes I landed in Montreal. My flight was supposed to terminate in Ottawa but I wasn't ready to spend the night at the airport so I took a bus.

Airfrance/KLM also have a bus service that would drop you at the train station in Ottawa if you fly with them

No. But if you have legit status the government won't let you or your child go Hungary or lack anything. If you're a PR or citizen you'll be fine regardless of where you live.

At your age you don't know it's rude to pry into someone's personal life?

What has your question got to do with the question that was asked?

maternal, do new immigrants qualify for OSAP (The Ontario Student Assistance Program) ? If that is the case @Shokoloko can get more than 30K /year in OSAP if she is enrolled in a university or college.
The good thing about OSAP is that people can pay back just a fraction of it to the government when they are done with school.

The challenge is I have already paid full tuition. I was hoping minimum wage could cater for two (including rent)

What’s wrong with you? Why do you continue to express ingenious stupidity. Do you know why I asked? Do you think I’m interested in anybody’s life? I don’t insult people, but in all honesty, you are a big cow. The question was not for you and had nothing to do with you

If you had politely ask - maybe I would have told you, idiot and you didn’t even provide any answer.

Chill out guys.
This thread had now spanned out over 400 pages now.
I thought by this time we have all become one big family.
I am wondering where your strife come from.

OSAP doesn't just pay for your tuition. It also pays for your living expenses.
Find out if you qualify as a new immigrant. IF you do qualify, they can pay you more than 30K per year. And when you done school, you may have to pay back less than 15K.
Even if you already pay full tuition, you will still get OSAP if you qualify for it.

No - minimum wage will not be enough. That’s why I asked after the other parent who may contribute financially before some cow decided to poke his nose. If you are coming via student route, be prepare for two (2) jobs which will be stressful, leave you little time to take care of your child and put enormous financial pressure on you.

It was never your question - have you gone for mental evaluation? My response was never for you. Rather than engage yourself with your itinerary and winter jackets, you are more interested in sticking your nose where it does not belong.

If the commenter is not traveling with the other parent, there is absolutely nothing to hide. If he/she does not intend to answer, it is their choice. I am neither interested nor bothered. There are programs for legal single parenthood.

So before you begin to form James Bond on issues unrelated to you, may I advise you to drink the available kerosene in your house, since you cannot decipher between what your business should be or not. Don’t bring this rotten attitude to Canada. If an issue doesn’t concern you, keep to your moronic self

You see how you continue to expose your moronic self. There are several Nigerians who decide to travel with the children whilst their partner stay behind and support financially. A colleague of mine falls within this category until she finished her schooling before her husband joined her.

You want to be an action man abi - first check your time zone because I know how to address people like you - people without sense

The person who asked the question was concerned about two people so he/she could make plans for two people. There's no point asking for a third person because it doesn't answer the question that was asked initially.

You see how foolish you are? Someone is making plans for two people you are asking for a third person.

You should ask for a refund of your school fees because you obviously learnt nothing in school.

Well I certainly think you are the foolish one here. Someone with child is asking for survival technique on minimum wage. That alone is a disaster and because you are a stupid and ignorant Nigerian and do not know how difficult it can be here, you have failed to understand my line of thought.
