Registration Of Vehicles/Change Of Ownership/Driver License - Autos (9)

I bought a used Saloon Car whose papers will expire early Nov. The owner left the number plate with me since I bought it.

I want to do change of ownership cert, renew the vehicle license too etc. And then return the number plate to him. But i can't afford everything at once but i will love to do all at once.

My question is, how long can vehicle license and others take, before it MUST be renewed as I want to do so around Mid December because I won't be around till then.

And also, can I do change of ownership without replacing the number plate since the previous owner isn't even asking for it/may even travel out for good soon.

There is no grace period before u renew, once expired .

Number plate must be changed along wt change of ownership.

I'm about to purchase a used SUV that has its papers expiring in December. However, I want to do a change of ownership for the number plate and the tinted permit and if possible, change every document that requires a change of name to reflect myself as the new owner. How long would that take and how much would it cost? Thanks.

Change of ownership/reregistration 55k( includes renewals of all documents to reflect new owners details. Duration is two weeks

Please can you recommend any car report or information bank that can inform a prospective car buyer if that used car has been stolen before?
