Changchun Yatai F.C of the Chinese league striker, Odion Ighalo has joined the league of the Super Eagles hat trick heroes.

In more than 65 years of Nigeria’s senior team existence, Ighalo became the 9th players who have scored three times against opposition.

Ighalo scored his first hat trick for the Super Eagles in the AFCON qualifier game against Libya in Uyo, Nigeria.

The 29-year-old joins hat trick heroes which include, Buraimoh Abudu, Paul Hamilton, Bobo Mordi, Thompson Usiyen, Segun Odegbami, Rasheed Yekini, Victor Ikpeba, Ikechukwu Uche and Nnamdi Oduamadi.

Nigeria defeated the Libyans 4-0 with Samuel Kalu scoring his first for the Super Eagles.

Well one thing I commend the coach for is his belief in him despite all his flaws.

Almost every Nigerian has lost interest in him, until few minutes to the game ppl were just questioning his inclusion in the team over the Radio.

But why the coach keep fielding him was still a mystery until his last goal this evening. grin

Let's all just watch if his game has changed for good for Naija as from today. Who knows?

May be this is the jinx he needed to brake to be a goal poacher like Yo King for Naija.

Congrats to us and to him and much love to Iwobi for those magnificent passes.
