Our products were selling like hot cake until we were hit with the CHANGE fever. The coming of the New administration saw the dollar rise so much that we were suffocated out of the market. We could no more bring in products and a little while things went from few stocks to no stocks.
Any time we dream of coming back, the dollar was preparing to flex muscle. Gradually we switched -off from the market to face other ventures.

We rightly switched into "food related " products since that was the hotter cake of any recession period. During the period on review we also strengthened our plant nursery business to stay afloat...and we made it bigger there .
During those periods, Chinese drip kits flooded the market with reckless abandon. You get them at same price we sold last but the quality was zero. Our products serve for a minimum of 4 years of >= 8 seasons but the Chinese replacement products can even break during 1st installation. It was like call upon call from vendors to have my team test their products. The more samples we verified the more fakes(especially in drip lines) we discovered.

When we contacted the Jain company for in-country production they told us that our country was not in their radar. They informed us that we can better deal on very many concessions like buy on credit,sell and pay back. To be sincere our findings revealed that during the recession most farmers were managing their stomach than improving their systems. So we avoided the mouth watering offers.
