Please the used iPhone 7, I just got has not been activated since I tried activating with the hotspot of my iPhone 8, i tried quick start with my iPhone 8 but it still not activating what can I do to activate it, am thinking of using the iTunes of my laptop if that will work, find my iPhone shows off when I checked, I tried the iPhone chip am using on my iPhone 8 not working also, Please do you know of any way?

Maybe but the iPhone 8 I have was activated through my iPhone 5 hotspot which I think the iPhone 7 should be able to activate that way too.

Is a sprint locked iPhone 7 just thinking of using chip to unlock but before that I always use hotspot to activate before chip unlocking which I will get from the computer village.

panel is more like a new phone entirely. It’s will be very hard to see just panel. So I will suggest u just buy another phone. But if u insist on getting a panel alone make sure they put it in a case and power it on to make sure it’s not iCloud locked panel.

u didn’t answer my previous question. But since its network locked u need chip. U can search for @Sirlop here on Nairaland he is in lagos and sells chip. But it’s supposed to show u sim not supported. Maybe it’s from apple server

No, it stays on the quick start and set up manually screen, which I try to with hotspot and also another iPhone to activate/do but it always stop at the message that the server is unavailable and please try again later.

Hi guys, I wonder if someone can help. I sent an iPhone 6s to a relative in Nigeria and before I sent the phone, I made sure the device is unlocked but upon getting to her, she inserted an MTN sim and got the below message.

"The sim card that you currently have installed in this iPhone is from a service provider that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone. Please insert another sim card from a supported service provider or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your service provider. Please contact apple for more information."

As mentioned, the device is unlocked as I tried two sim cards from different providers before the phone left the UK. I will appreciate if someone can suggest or recommend a solution to the issue. Thanks!

well it seems the phone is still locked to the network you bought it from in the UK. I will suggest u contact the network provider if u are sure the phone is paid off and ask them to unlock it. If not she can get a chip it’s 3k and Unlock the phone
