I remember the trick that Complete Sports played on me in 1996. They had a giant headline on their front page that read,

"Kanu moves to Lugano"

with a rider,

"Story on page 3"

I was wondering why Kanu would move to Lugano, so I bought the paper.

Then on page 3 I read, "Christopher Kanu has moved to Lugano on loan". I felt like slapping them.
