The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, has said electricity supply in the country is improving slowly and that power problems cannot be solved by magic.

The former aide to Goodluck Jonathan as reacted to the News with tweet saying...

Just shut up! Speak for your location and stop generalizing. Here in Niger (power state) we have been having epileptic power supply for more than 4years running; and it gets worse with each passing day ! There is a community near my school called Gidan Mangoro; the community and her indigenes have not had light for more than a year now. It was when they threaten to burn the PHCN office in that area that the government took them seriously and sent soldiers to keep them calm . This just goes to show that the APC led federal government cannot give something as common as stable power supply to every part of the country .

After claiming to solve power problems within 6months during campaign fashola fall hands wit this his latest statement.

He should have just shut his mouth till 2019 when him and his dullard oga will be sent back to sambisa forest.

The foundation of their party is built on lies, empty promises and propaganda.

The battle they are facing now is between
over-promise and underperformance.

You guys should stop being dull for fun. Even Fashola alluded to what OBJ wrote in his book about 800 containers of power equipments which Yaradua refused to give approval for clearing at the ports. According to him, they have now cleared 690 out of the 800. Don't join ur oga in being stupid by half

Of course Fashola is right. Nobody solves a problem by magic. It would take sustained efforts and resources to solve electricity problem in Nigeria. Already there is considerable and encouraging improvement in power supply in recent times.
