Without any form of prejudice, I would lean towards @Senatordave1 analysis of Rivers politics. I highly doubt anyone here, so far, knows or understands Rivers political space as he does.

Nigeria's political evolution goes beyond 2015 you hear I know you are a millennial but, you can do yourself well to research with open mind. Buhari is an exception not the norm to emergence of presidents.

In 1999 with the outgoing military regime slightly favouring pdp and with other things being almost balanced between ad and pdp,pdp polled 1.2 million in rivers while alliance for democracy polled 400,000.thats 25%.anpp and ad went into an alliance during the presidential poll.anpp won some legislative seats in rivers.magnus abe was among them.
In 2003 with thugs,federal might and militants in pdp favour,they polled 2 million while a hapless buhari polled less than 100,000.in 2007,pdp polled 1.8 million while buhari polled less than 50k.in 2011,gej polled 1.8 million,buhari less than 50k.in 2015,1.4 million to 69,000.
With federal might no more in pdp hand plus both apc and pdp having thugs,cultists and militants plus the apc winning several legislative seats in rivers which has never happened since 1999 and the apc chairman ojukaye suppressing pdp,what will happen next year? Fill in the blanks.

Am shocked and same time surprised that someone is recognising me finally.barcanista also understands rivers politics but rarely comments,he prefers talking about akwa ibom politics.
Am even eze ala,etche lga right now.the biafra movement here is stronger than both apc and pdp.
