We need the president to intervene in this matter as the allegations against Usman are grave . This is not a joking matter. From customs to nnpc to NCAA to firs, there's massive corruption and abuse of powers.

If Buhari wants to fix corruption to an extent he needs to fix the procurement process and institute the procurement council so that the fec can stop awarding contracts. The easiest way to steal money in government at all levels is through abuse of the procurement process. Buhari should look beyond being Mr integrity and be innovative in his fight against corruption. Integrity of the president won't end corruption. The TSA implementation was a good place to start but it you read the allegations against Usman you will know the procurement process in government has been soiled and it happens in all government agencies

Fresh reports filtering in from Abuja has it that police officers are currently clashing with workers at the head office of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).

The policemen have also escorted Usman Yusuf, NHIS executive secretary who was suspended last week, into his office.

Yusuf had kicked against his suspension by the NHIS governing board, saying he would resume work on Monday.

But the NHIS workers union had threatened to lock him out of office.

However, as early as about 7am on Monday, the worker’s locked the entrance gate, amid heavy security presence.

Yusuf arrived at 8:30am, gained entry into the premises  with the aid of the policemen. He and was accompanied to his office.

Policemen on ground also teargassed the workers in the ensuing fracas.

The reason for suspension is inflation in the proposal present to the board,very flimsy.
If you say the man is stubborn, i will agree,but calling the man corrupt that is where i disagreed.
