The Current Governor of Kano State , Umar Ganduje was spotted watching the Match between Rangers and Kano Pillars.

Depsite his bribery scandal he briefly stopping by to watch the ongoing Challenge Cup finals between Kano and Rangers with the Deputy Governor Dr Nasiru Gawuna in attendance to motivate the team. Kano Pillar hasn't won the cup in decades.
