Photocopy machine was first produced in commercial quantity in 1958 and electronic photocopy machine was first manufacture in 1977 which means President Muhammadu Buhari wouldn't have been able to make photocopy of his WAEC result in 1961. Even the record of his WAEC result in the Military custody is hand written which shows that photocopier was not available then. According to the president, he submitted the original copy of his WAEC result at the point of recruitment. The military should be held responsible for poor record keeping culture.

Buhari dropped out of secondary school. Then in military there is no need of certificate to join because it was not interesting unlike later. Many were forced to join army in early 60s.

Buhari has opportunity to resit for WAEC, NECO, GCE between 2014 - 2018 but he failed to do so because he has no interest in education but if is cows he will do.

Buhari would become a graduate between 2014 -2018 but because he is lazy it is difficult.

Don't blame Buhari blame constitution that requires Primary School Leave as meaning qualification.

I still keep wondering o o, from the little i know, obasanjo joined the army before buhari did but obasanjo was able to produce his result in 1999 and 2003,why is buhari finding it so difficult?oga o o

This certificate issue of a thing is jus showing the kinda system we run in this country.
As a matter of fact,the whole citizens hv failed the nation .We need to tell our legislators to sit-up and make good laws to block the lacunas in constitution people are using to short change the system.

Obasanjo on Buhari Certificate

Obasanjo disclosed this in London, while fielding questions during an event to promote his book ‘My Watch’ in the course of the week. He revealed that Buhari enrolled into the military four years after he did.

Obasanjo, said in the event, which was recorded in a video and posted on Youtube, that, “When I joined the Army in the 1950s, I needed to have a Cambridge certificate or West African School Certificate or GCE with a minimum of six subjects to be able to join the military at the time.
“I don’t know of anybody who was an officer at that time that did not have similar certificates.

“Buhari joined the Army about four years after me and if I needed such a certificate to be admitted into the Army, I don’t know how he could have avoided it.

“Assuming he was able to avoid that certificate, Buhari went through a military academy, and went through what you call a staff college which would be the equivalent of a first degree. He went through what you call a war college in America where he would have got an equivalent of a master’s degree.

It is important to note that Buhari is far more educated than the average Nigerian graduate.

The Nigerian constitution however, does not require a WAEC result. What it expects is that you completed at least secondary school education.

All these irrelevant logic for Buhari's certificate, when will youths grow up?

Buhari is a failure. If he cannot simply ask(better still order) the military to send his certifications to INEC then how can he lead?
