It's very advisable you don't accept part payment on items to be picked up for individuals (except for those you trust of course). If they were items picked by you and for you which you intend to sale then they can pay part payment (just to secure it for themselves) and complete it before they go for pick up here in 9ja. Make them go ebay, amazon, konga, jumia etc go do part payment.

Let me use this opportunity to clarify what we all know.

I Omotolsy charge more because of one major reason and it is that my shipper is expensive, I have other cheap shippers but we all remember what happened when i was using them.

We should also remember that I run this with my Brother (Kay)

So i dont enjoy profits alone, We share whatever we make.

Lion is a great man. He is my friend and my brother.

I know he has been pushed to the wall and lost a lot.

I am not as nice as he is(lolzzz)and i envy him for that.

But we all have our uniquenesses.

He has said this is what he wants and so be it.

He who wears the shoe knows where it itches and aches and not you wearing your own shoe.

Thank you guys for patronising we pickers. However, you guys make more lolzzzz so stop complaining every time.

If the policy of full payment isnt considerate, what do you want me to do? take part payment? I have checked other thread and know whats going on over there.. Omotolsy doesnt accept part payment, the like of clone and mikky accepts part payment but do you know how much they charge for pickups? I never see where mikky or clone charges $15 for pickup. Even with my low pickup fee, you still expect me to charge part payment? do you know how many $15 pickups i will do before the $15 that turn into something meaningful? that not even the point, when i collect payment payment, will i take part payment to the seller as well OR i tell the guy doing exchange rate to collect part payment and expect him to give me full dollars?

We Nigerians(Most) are very dishonest. The other day, someone wanted me to do a pickup of 150k but making a deposit of 30k. the other one wanted $520 item picked up without upfront payment with some bullshit stories. When you accept a part payment, they go into hiding and on the day of pickup, they show up asking for their bills tying someone money down for 2 weeks.

Some here gave me a fake alert just for him to do pickup and deleted the message again. Even right now, i have peeps owing up to 300k combined due to "trust" of "I have exceeded my daily transfer limit for the day, I will send the rest tomorrow stories. If I open a thread complaining how people are owing me money, I am sure you will be among that will lash me with words. I have created relationship on whatsapp with people. I know the peeps without without payment from them, I can pick for them and they will sure pay me within 24hrs.

Now generally speaking, we have mikky, omotolsy , daaz and two pickers from chicago. If I am not accepting part payment, they can approach who they think they can accept part payment and will still be good for their business.. If I charge people like mikky, omotosly and clone with their pickup fee rate, then i can accept part payment but right now, I can't
