An incident occurred this morning in Lagos after a man parked his vehicle on third mainland bridge and jumped into the water.

It was gathered that the unidentified man parked the vehicle which he was driving, and which had other occupants on top of the bridge, with the excuse that he wanted to ease himself.

To everyone’s surprise, he was said to have just jumped over the railings of the bridge into the lagoon.

According to reports, the Marine Police, Lagos state government rescue boats and local divers have recovered the body of the jumper in the lagoon after RRS riders got to the scene almost immediately and radioed for assistance.

The incident has cause a heavy traffic gridlock in the area.

Their brains don't function that way unfortunately. The Ojuelegba bridge where containers fall every time is still without rails...and you need to see the truck traffic on it daily. Government of politicians with misplaced priorities! They will all give account here or in the life after!

Sad news, stay away from suicide.

Govt need to setup a very high railing all through the length of this bridge.
But why is there too much suicide during this administration?

He felt degraded. I wonder why someone in his/her right mind wants to take his/her life.

Can't the governor of Lagos state lay surveillance there in other to scrape suicide .
