pazienza:I disagree with Psquare. They avoided/abandoned Igbo language for years till others made it lucrative, they decided to key in afterwards. Just had a stint with Ifunanya and that was all for a very long time |

pazienza:I am not even feeling for her. Another person that avoided Igbo language like its a plaque. Even the 'Nne m Nne m' she did with flavor had her singing in Yoruba while Flavor sang in Igbo. Na she sabi. I don't know why Stormrex didn't make it, Desperate Chicks would have been successful if they stayed together |

InyinyaAgbaOku:This is particularly true. They were repping yoruba , when 2shot, Biglo were keeping it Igbotic. Psquare brothers were sellout and they crowned it all with their non Igbo wives. Truth is that Psquare started from Lagos , a Yoruba domain and they thought singing in Igbo was unfashionable and unprofitable. They were churning Yoruba lines after lines and suppressed their identity. |

ckenneths:Lies. Archeologies at Nsukka and Awka date back to 8000bc. Your source said a period layer. Abraham hadn't been born by this period. There is no relationship between Eri of bible and Eri of Igboland. Hebrew language and Igbo language are miles apart. All these forced similarities are fewer than the differences. You will find more between Igbo and Yoruba sef. Mind you, the different Igbo clans have their separate original stories. Owerri, Awka and Only believe they are from the soil, so where did Areli enter this. Wherever Israelites scattered to, Igbos are original people. |

Ekene kwa mụ unu. I Just joined the thread. I am happy that we young folks have decided to see the beauty in our land and the great opportunity that exist therein if properly harnessed in accordance with a Good government policy. It's annoying that our people will finish school and end up moving away all because of unemployment. If employment opportunities exist in the east certainly, more growth will come to the region. |

InyinyaAgbaOku:You have to understand that alot of Igbo children born in Lagos were stripped of their culture, which includes language by their ffoollish and inferior parents, especially those from Imo and Abia , and I am speaking from the view of a person who lived in Lagos for many years. A lot of Igbos born in Lagos always hide their faces when their identity get mentioned, and they will even mock and deride their eastern brothers in the public. I have seen Igbos insult their fellow in Yoruba while the Yorubas laugh I, astonishment. Even Genevieve sold out until recently when Chimamanda got in the mix with her proud Igbo movement and all of a sudden everybody wants to be Igbo. |

InyinyaAgbaOku:Lol. It’s delusion to think we’re toasting women. They choose us then pretend iwhile we fool ourselves with toasting. |
| Re: . by Kennycyphers(m): 2:41am On Nov 04, 2018 |
pazienza:What if the Igbo speaking towns outside south east refuse to identify themselves as Igbos. I ve a friend who claims he is not Igbo but Delta Igbo. Makes me wonder, why use the Igbo identity and language if you feel you are not Igbo enough. |
| Re: . by OMANBALA1: 2:43am On Nov 04, 2018 |
Late MC Loph, Mr. Raw made the way for modern Igbo musicians. People used to mock Nigga Raw because she rapped in Igbo but never deterred. However, Flavor nabania and Phyno calcified the place of Igbos music in today's Nigeria. And suddenly Psquare remembered they were Igbos....shame |
| Re: . by InyinyaAgbaOku(m): 2:45am On Nov 04, 2018 |
OMANBALA1:The two marrying non Igbo women was really sth else. Other tribes even used it to diss Igbos sef. Good that their elder brother, Jude had more sense in that respect . Jude also started from Lagos with them, although their music started even way before Lagos, in Jos. I am really impressed that Igbo language became mainstream in Nigerian music that even those who boycotted it began to embrace it. |

InyinyaAgbaOku:Where is the evidence that you are the son of the man they call your father? Is it because people and your mother told you so? ![]() |
| Re: . by Kennycyphers(m): 2:58am On Nov 04, 2018 |
But really I think before Nigeria can work properly as a country, the unifying factions should be called to a round table to decide if they wish to forge ahead or not. This issue of politics is dividing us on daily basis and certainly one faction will always feel cheated or marginalised. I buy the idea of Tony Nnadi of 2013/2014 that was calling for a New Nigerian. |
| Re: . by OreMI22: 4:49am On Nov 04, 2018 |
Kennycyphers:I cannot slap your father, then slap you and then slap your son and you will tell me that you are happy with me. Only those doing the slapping and trying their best to cheat and under-develop others are happy with Nigeria. Truth is that a new Nigeria is impossible without justice. First the proverbial "slapping" of people from a certain part of the country must stop and they are truly made to feel that they are part of Nigeria. If not, continue dreaming of a new Nigeria while you are making merry on injustices meted out to others. You will truly never have peace. Its simply illogical |

OMANBALA1:Marrying non igbo is their private life a s stop this ..they repped igbo...theur biggest track was ONYINYE and they featured RICK ROSS and the first international collaboration What is wrong with you guys ? Must you lie ? Onyinye was sang in igbo ana it was massive then |
| Re: . by hammerFC: 8:43am On Nov 04, 2018 |
murphyibiam15:Either way, state creation is a topic that should be on igbo agenda. We need minimum of one state and maximum of two. Adada state capturing the middle belt igbo is a priority. |
| Re: . by Nobody: 8:51am On Nov 04, 2018 |
hammerFC:Instead of capturing let ebonyi state be carved to themselves. |
| Re: . by Nobody: 8:54am On Nov 04, 2018 |
murphyibiam15:Good submission. He has been useless there for a long time. |
| Re: . by hammerFC: 8:55am On Nov 04, 2018 |
Osagyefo98:u and obikenobi are the same person right? Well, Igbo people will get an additional state, that is not even objectionable. It is just a case of Ndiigbo deciding where the additional state should come from in the SE. Adada is the favourite. |
| Re: . by Nobody: 8:57am On Nov 04, 2018 |
murphyibiam15:Plss let me see the geographical standing for your proposed Etiti state ![]() |
| Re: . by Nobody: 8:59am On Nov 04, 2018 |
hammerFC:That decision has been made a long time ago.... The issue is how committed and I must quickly remind u that if the proposed adada state falls beyond nsukka annd benue axis...is an issue. |
| Re: . by Nobody: 9:01am On Nov 04, 2018 |
InyinyaAgbaOku:LMAO me I follow see the lines and kept quiet. But when the condo is very massive, a senior chick wouldn't mind dating a minor for his big something. |
| Re: . by hammerFC: 9:03am On Nov 04, 2018 |
Osagyefo98:Adada state aims to capture Ndiigbo in the middlebelt. That is the principal justification for Adada. Others are secondary. The State already has a Federal University of Nigeria |

| Re: . by murphyibiam15(m): 10:25am On Nov 04, 2018 |
Osagyefo98:OK see the proposed Etiti state comprising all SE states: (1)Anambra: Orumba north/Orumba south (2)Abia : umunneochi LGA/ Isiukwuato (3)IMO : Okigwe, Ihime mbano, Onuimo LGAs (4)Ebonyi : Afikpo north/ Afikpo south (5)Enugu : Awgu, Aninri, Oji River LGAs the Etiti state would be at the centre of SE I don't believe they're divergent after all that's the same way present states were created and for those proposing Adada , Nsukka axis is very divergent from igbos in Benue and Kogi, so those in Etiti I think have similar culture and tradition |
| Re: . by Nobody: 10:37am On Nov 04, 2018 |
murphyibiam15:The person that started this was rooting at adada his soul aim been to capture benue and kogi...which I might agree may have different cultural settings... Secondly don't u think your proposed might be difficult to achieve compare to adada.? |
| Re: . by murphyibiam15(m): 11:09am On Nov 04, 2018 |
Osagyefo98:my proposed was at the forefront of The 2014 national conference for an additional state in SE by overwhelming representatives from the SE..former Ebonyi gov , Martins Elechi was the only prominent figure rooting for Adada state then since they, Nsukka were also agitating for state when Ebonyi agitated and got theirs but to be fair I don't see why Nsukka needs a state, they make up 45% of Enugu state population and they're currently controlling the government house at the moment..Etiti state will harness another potential for SE |
| Re: . by Nobody: 11:16am On Nov 04, 2018 |
murphyibiam15:Nice submission just that adada state has one voice than the latter. The proposed etiti state has all south east on it more reasons am saying that many of these areas u listed may not agree to join and is another effect. The carving is in a circle and I doubt if all these guys will agree coz it is worthy to note that am yet to see any from orumba agitating for a state. Can't we try something feasible or attainable or atleast sensitize these guys to key into the agenda. |
| Re: . by frankfrancis871: 11:35am On Nov 04, 2018 |
Osagyefo98:I don't see any tangible reason why Igbos should focus on state creation when we have a better option, Biafra State creation is the same as divide and rule! |
