Yes it is not logical for NLC to expect every state in Nigeria to pay same minimum wage. For some states like Kogi, osun, ekiti etc 22.5k is good enough while states like Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Rivers, Akwa ibom etc can pay 35k or more. This will create healthy competition among states that is good for over all development of the country. NLC should look at the income, assets and liabilities of each state and determine the appropriate minimum wage for the state. Same should apply to FG workers. Let's discuss and have your views on this |

OK oh. But it is practical for politicians and political appointees to be paid the same salary in all the states abi? |
