I opened the thread to read a general, well researched subject. Alas, it was about St Dominic Catholic church and St Vincent de Paul society.

Life has thought me by experience that not all beggars have clean heart or hands.... So.e Years back I gave a beggar cash in the street and within minutes he enter a corner and few yards away I receive spiritual attack..... I have to pray fast and send it back to sender, I return the beggar has disappeared

Executive Beggars everywhere in Lagos. There is a particular couple who dress up and stay close to a corner after WAEC busstop in Yaba, they are always short of transport fare. I didn't even know that was their stock in trade until I saw them stop someone else on a different day to tell the pathetic story.

Sad how able bodied men and women resort to begging instead of working. They've made a lot of peoe feel guilty of not giving. Coming from church you see guys begging for transport back go home and I'm like why stand at the road why not beg your church members for fares? Then you see the ones at ATMs, Supermarkets and even inside Shoprite or Game cheesy

That was how one girl accosted me at an ATM as early as 7am saying she need 5k to compete her school of nursing fees. Told her I didn't have and next thing jumped into a waiting car with either her boyfriend or husband grin

It's very difficult to differentiate genuine beggars from fake ones these days.

I have seen the ones with megaphone and green collection bag (the one pictured above) end up in a bar after a day's job, splitting their day's pay.
This was in Benin, years back.
I was marvelled.

THE GOOD GOD ABOVE WOULD BE MORE PLEASED IF PEOPLE GAVE ALL THE TITHE AND OFFERINGS THEY GIVE TO THIEVING PASTORS TO "BEGGERS" AND THE NEEDY INSTEAD.

THE BEGGER NEEDS YOUR MONEY FOR FOOD AND MEDICINE.
THE PASTOR NEEDS YOUR MONEY FOR MORE CARS AND AN ADDITIONAL PRIVATE JET.

USE YOUR HEAD.

Why the too much noise about begging from you mofos? You don't give or you don't have to give yet you make it a duty to make those who give feel bad. You people are incredible. Give if you want or have to give or you leave them be. Haba

Executive beggars are beggars who don't really need your financial assistance. They want to eat their cake and have it again.
Real beggars wear rags, are illiterate, have their own religion, come from a certain part of Nigeria and for them it is a full time family occupation.

Executive beggers are full-bodied men and ladies dressed well or tattared with fake wounds and are well armed with drug priscriptions. They have their own religion and come from a certain part of Nigeria. And for them, deception, laziness and scaming fellow countrymen is a full-time occupation.

It's that simple.
