I know you're one of the insecure mofos i'm referring to, but i'll humour you just this once!

I'm from Ndoni in Rivers State....so in your estimation, am i Igbo or Igbo enough?
Ndoni indeed, Akiko n'egwu.

Obiano is a major offender. The man keeps wearing Agbada like an idiot even during Igbo meetings. That attire is only recognized by the Hausa as Danshiki and the Yoruba as Agbada but foreign to Ndigbo, so why do our leaders keep wearing it even to Igbo meetings?
Ndi Anambra had never complained to you so what's your problem with his dressing?
I guess your ancestors were wearing shirts, trousers, boxers and knotting ties during their time.

I knew the sort of scum my post will draw out of the sewer.....no surprises! They know i'm referring to them hence the response!

Dude, read the title of this thread again and tell me what it says! Just to assist you in case you're as thick as your posts actually suggest: it says 'Pan-Igbo political and economic forum'! Breaking it down, it means it's a forum where like-minded Igbos with a Pan-Igbo disposition meet and rub minds together! It doesn't say 'Pan-Omambala, Pan-Ngwa or Pan-Ndoni forum'....kapish?

I'm not against anyone protecting their turf or promoting a Sub-Igbo supremacist agenda, but is it asking for too much if i ask you try to find the appropriate thread for it? Last i checked, the Anambra thread is still there, so why not take your Omambala/Anambra supremacist agenda over there and knock yourselves out?

You seem to make jest of my reply to your brother who asked if i'm Igbo. I replied that i'm from Ndoni, and for some funny reason you scoff in derision. Care to fill me in on what you find so offensive about Ndoni?

Anyone in Enugu know the present state of this public building? This was one of the buildings the Queen of England visited during her 1956 visit to the then Eastern Region (see accompanying YouTube clip).

I think the level of our maintenance culture is scandalous to say the least! Just look at how they've left that building to rot! Some public buildings of the same age in Kaduna and Lagos are still well looked after and in use, while abroad building hundreds of years old are still in use or have become national monuments that attract visitors!

Really sad!

Some pics from Centenary Golf City courtesy of their Facebook page.

Hope they do something about the brown colour of the water in the pond flowing under that bridge.

If they plant grass around the water, surrounding soil will nolonger be washed into the pond and the water color will be clear.

I thank God its a place like centenary city, so i know they will plant greass. A typical Nigerian estate considers grass, trees and flower planting as too much burden.

Nnewi doesn't have a particular dialect...otolo, uruagu and Amichi speak same

While Unudim speak same with some of Awka Etiti

Well these areas are contagious or same with nnewi dialects...

But you are not even remotely Igbo. Why not go and open Rivers thread to discuss your state issues there.

Part of the reasons for building the mega state secretariat in Enugu was to stop the problems of space and disorganised arrangement of government offices in Enugu. Eswama, ministry of finance and every other government office have good spaces in the new secretariat complex pictured below.

Agbada is a result of Islamic influence, it's borrowed from the Arabs by the wandering futha jallon Fulani tribe that conquered much part of Northern Nigeria and Western Nigeria. Igbos have no agabada or danshiki oversized dressing because there is no Islamic influence in Igboland.

i know. But the issue is about the state of this building...a colonial heritage. Look at how the church maintains holyghost cathedral...or this anglican cathedral in lagos...compare it with how govt left this building. We need to refurbish that building
