The Anambra State Police Command has arrested the man who allegedly killed a petrol station manager, over N40, 000 in Okpuno Nnewichi, Nnewi.


Spokesperson for the Command, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest said the case has been transferred to CIID for discreet investigation.

The deceased, Chigozie Emmanuel Aghaji, was said to be a graduate of engineering of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
The 25-year-old deceased was stabbed by his boss on his lower abdomen with screwdriver over missing N40,000 at Nenco petrol station.
According to reports, the suspect, from Imo state, is not the real owner of the petrol station as he got the property on lease.

“After conducting their usual account, the boss started accusing Chigozie of shortage of 40,000. “Though he initially denied the allegations, the boss said he was the one, insisting on collecting the missing money," said a source narrated.
“In course of the argument, the deceased pleaded to the boss to deduct the money from his November salary, without knowing he had another plans.

I have lived long enough to know the trend in bizarre and disturbing stories over years. There has never been a time in history of this country where this kind of news occurs almost daily. Killings everywhere as though the people are venting their anger on the failures of leaders.
I feel sad for the youth who are caught up in this daily anger.

I blame Daura village for producing the most incompetent leader in Nigeria's history. They say a good child is trained by the community thus, the rise of Buhari has much to blame on people of Daura

In as much as i do not support the Boss's action,its obvious the the Manager had an intent to steal.Most sales persons are fond of this.They deliberately steal money from funds left in their care and later plead that the said amount be removed form their next salary.RIP
