An online form was sent to the referees to complete. perhaps they want to see the number of your referees that responded. you can also see the referee report on your application status page

The Ept cut off mark haa been reduce to 30 marks, so if you score 30 and above check your portal immediately

No, there is not. We did not do any last year under Criminology and I do not think they will this year. If you scored at least 50% in the EPT, you are very likely to be offered Criminology and Penology. Welcome to the great course ahead!

Firstly, the Unibadan does NOT and may NEVER reduce its EPT cut-off mark below 40% as some are trying to claim here. Secondly, the Unibadan does NOT have such thing as "First, Second, or third List" in terms of admission. It releases ALL the admitted names from each Faculty/Department ONCE, and if you did not find your name then FORGET about admission! The best they may do is to offer one another (costlier) Programme to run especially for Postgraduate applicants.

It means the cut off is 30, but the truth is most people below 40 will hardly get admission in academic masters programme. One might be favoured in professional programmes but academics, it's a No No.

Admission is released in batches, department by department. Some won't release their list until February. Sciences and Agriculture release theirs early.

You should be the one to use your brain (if you even any) to assume I quoted you as scoring below 40. Yes, you gave a misleading information but it appears you have a short memory.

If you got 57% then you already have an edge. Again the Unibadan does NOT reduce its EPT cut-off mark! So MANY people scored 40% and above, so how do you expect them to reduce the cut-off mark to 30% or 39%? It is a Department like Islamic/Arabic Studies that tries to reduce its cut-off mark to around 35% due to the high number of non-English and poor-English speakers that apply into the Department, and since the course also makes little use of English.

I am a student already. Let's see by next year how many applicants with 39% and even 40% in their EPT will get admission especially into Faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Social Sciences, Law; and Departments of English, Theatre Arts etc. No be here we dey? E go do many pipul like film tricks. If you know the THOUSANDS of people that got 45% to 59% you will even be scared if you got 40s or 50s.

I congratulate all the successful 2016/17 M.Sc and other PhD graduates of the Unibadan on their Convocation ceremony yesterday and today! E no easy, if U neva com U no go know. If U no fit ENDURE or no get any major source of income/SPONSOR 4dis life, NO even attempt to com run PG studies especially for UI!

Social Work - There was interview and the number to be admitted depends on the capacity of the dept. Lecturers complain our set of 42students is high hence the need to reduce this year. The criteria to be used,I don't know but I can assure you,the number of candidates to be admitted will be less than 42.

ECCE- They did not conduct DPT last year,but they did interview on Thursday.

It may be like false,but some dept check your alma-mata to decide as well in cases where they have large number of candidates.

You must be exceptional in Economics DPT to get admission. The dept does not admit large numbers

Chemistry as well,your DPT cut off depends on your specialisation. E.g physical and environmental chemistry used 42 and 44 respectively last year.

And with all this your trash and poor write-ups you don't think you claim to KNOW it ALL? How did you know Dept. of Social Work will not admit up to 42 people next year? How did you know about other Departments? Or, maybe your envy and stupidity stops you from minding your own business? I suggest you take your miserable self to UI Junction and jump into a moving bus to end it all. Rubbish thing! E go pain U well well.

I wonder why the reduction in cut-off mark is bringing this confusion, because only the school know the reason(s) why they reduced the mark to 30. Some people be forming " I SABI UI PROCESS" as if they are always at the Senate meeting.
Please get a life and allow those that this reduction has affected positively enjoy the life line offered to them.
