Do you know that Nigerians get most of our livestocks from Niger republic? How can they starve when they can purchase food from Nigeria with this money? Food which we have in abundance. Don't forget we are one ECOWAS.

The government of Niger also use their 10% arable land for farming food crops and not flowers and tea. So these food crops and abundance of livestocks sustain their population.
There is even a particular beans variety Nigerians import from Niger republic.
