In what appears to be a financial infraction, fresh facts have emerged on how the Lagos state chess coach ( Olabisi Rabiu) allegedly diverted grants approved by his Excellency the governor of Lagos state Akinwunmi Ambode to sons account. The information leaked at a meeting held at the Teslim balogun stadium, indoor sports hall during a meeting the embattled chess coach had with the players on the 12th November 2018. istory.com reliably gathered from a source privy to the contents of the meeting alleged that she illegally positioned her son to receive grants disbursement from the state coffers. An inside source who wishes to remain anonymous said that " she lacks understanding of the gravity of her actions. You cannot dispense public funds and divert same for selfish or family purposes. It portrays danger for the entire Lagos state sport council and puts them in bad light. These kind of corruption has been going on in the entire sport council for years and the governor would be unhappy about this. You can't siphon public funds to personal account. It's unacceptable. The governor would hear this certainly. We wount sweep the matter under the carpet" istory.com also gathered that the controversial chess coach has been having a running battle with members of the chess team. Another source who prefers to be anonymous said the coach is not fit to be a coach. " This is an individual with questionable character and she is putting the state in bad light. She is on a five (5) year ban from the Nigerian chess federation NCF for unethical conduct and practice. She can't officiate in the coming national sports festival. She is on her own and she is alone. We appeal to the director of sports, Lagos state sport council to look into the matter" Sources close to the embattled coach suggest she has been making underground moves to cover her tracks. She is said to have been meeting with other influential members of the sport council to sweep the matter under. It's a clear case of corruption and their are mounting pressures to petition the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to invite her for questions. The governor will hear about this damaging act if the matter is not properly addressed.

As at the time of filling this report, there was uneasy calm in the chess coach camp as she is frantically making efforts to clear the mess. This story get Kleg , it is obviously an attempt go discredit the said coach , this is clear from the tone of thus unethical and unprofessional report. Some unseen hands are behind this fake news . stupid news . the people behind this news are the very problems of Nigerian chess , with their witch hunting and selfish motives .

masterslayer you are just a mud slinger and one of the biggest problems of Nigerian chess and Nigeria . if you feel so strongly about your allegations channel your grievances through the appropriate quarters following laid down procedures . this one is clearly witch hunting , this is libel . if you have proof do the needful and not on some faceless , attention seeking blog or website .
