It's not about Atiku. You don't gather like this to endorse anyone. This is the worst political move ever. Ojukwu said he was voting Tofa/Ugo in 1993 but he never tried to gather Igbos to ask them to vote along with him.

Oga dont worry yourself about Igbos. We will always survive by God's grace.

Since Buhari won the election, majority of Igbos havr consistently shown their rejection of Buhari, has that made them the poorest people?

At this point what does it matter? The Igbos were already termed "5%" by the president and inconsequential by his horde of sycophants..so right now, nobody has the moral standing to tell them who to vote come 2019..if someone tells you point blank that you mean nothing to him, will you give a damn what the person thinks about your business?
I agree with bolded. And that includes Oheneze or whoever. You think it doesn't matter, but it does. You're pouring fuel on Buhari's bigotry. What you don't seem to realise is that this is totally unnecessary because most Igbos were going to vote for Atiku anyway. Or do you know any Igbo person who was waiting for Ohaneze or whoever to tell him who to vote for? Did you hear Enoch Adeboye asking RCCG members to vote for a Buhari because their pastor was on the ticket? Once you do that, you create a friend and an enemy. Read up on how British PM John Major endorsed George HW Bush and ended up having a frosty relationship with President Bill Clinton. Anyway, I wish you people luck. It's only another political blunder.

I wasn't worrying. Just pointing out it's a blunder - which it is. So the SW are double-dealers for not holding a meeting to endorse a candidate.
Presumably, the SS, NW, NE, and NC are double-dealers too. Interesting.

You that was born today. Now let me tell you what you don't know. Obasanjo was arranged into the position of president by power brokers as at that time and those power brokers later regretted their actions by helping him to become the president. So it wasn't the Igbo that made Obasanjo the president. Now on Ya'adua he was hand picked into office by OBJ. Only GEJ was backed by the Igbos and South South and he fails to retain the position. He was a good man but Igbo have no influence on who becomes the president of this country but the North does. Igbo only make mouth. Whoever they back end up loosing. Atiku is a failure right from time and watch it, he will loose again by dancing along with the Igbo.

If Atiku have sense he was suppose to fight for the soul of North cos whoever wins in the North will end up becoming the president. Vote in the east will be shared. Only PDP can't get all the votes in the east, remember APGA is still there to divide the votes and that will give PDP a lot of problems. Remember what happens in the just concluded Osun Election when SDP shared the vote that would PDP would have easily get.

East only have 5 states as against 19 states in the North. According to political calculations Buhari will end up winning. And I don't want fools to be screaming APC rigged him into office. Rigging or without rigging he will win Atiku hands down. They love him the North more than anyone. And if he can win hands down In the North, and win hands down in the west. The whole of west is controlled by APC. I'm very sure he will win few states in the south south also. Atiku will win in the east no doubt but APGA will spoil his show by winning like two of the 5 eastern state thereby making Atiku loose. Atiku will also win south south but not all the States in the south. So it would be shared by both PDP and APC. APC will definitely win some states in the south south. So tell me how Atiku will become the president comes 2019? Atiku can only win Buhari in his dreams. He might be lucky to win maybe another politician in Nigeria but certainly not Buhari.

Politics is a game of number and the North have the numbers not East. The North will determine who will win not any other region. Out of 36 states that we have In Nigeria, North has 19 states and one states in the North have three times the population of Lagos, 6 times population of Osun. So they have the population no doubt.

Your analysis has K-Leg. From Paragraph 1, yes Obasanjo was President as a compensation to Yoruba's. Didn't he do second tenure? Was there no vote? Did he not win landslide in SE?

Ya'Adua "was handpicked by Obj" yes. But was there no election? There was and PDP won landslide in SE.

You are right that north has 19 States but the bulk votes comes from NW, mainly Kano.

You said APGa will divide votes in SE? Which candidate are they fielding for the Presidential election? None!

You left out NC in your analysis. They and SW ultimately decides where the Presidency goes. For now, Atiku will divide votes up North but Buhari may win most States there NC (already disenchanted by killings and land grabbing that was resisted) and SE will vote landslide for PDP. The wahala is SW. If the vote for Buhari, he might win by a small margin.

No one should hide under any guise of being neutral.
Buhari has shown an open hatred for the Ibo tribe,he has openly said same,in unambiguous language, and has demonstrated it in practical terms in his appointments.
The Ibo should therefore not shy away from showing him the hatred is mutual.
They have the right, collectively or individually to reject or support Buhari, and they have collectively said they reject him in clear and unambiguous tones.
Let him look for support in other zones, and let every zone bear the cross if he wins to rule for another 4 years.

some of you just talk after over feeding ,,, are you even aware buhari 1st alliance under cpc was with an igbo as VP ..same Buhari some rogues brainwashed you guys to believe hates SE picked an igbo twice as running mate .... do i really blame pdp they know must Nigerians are gully & the youths are educated illiterates with poor memory storage.
Did the east even give Buhari any chance as at 2015 before showcasing pure hatred ... they say it's not personal they don't just want an Hausa fulani Muslim but today they are ass licking another Hausa fulani man atiku .. beating chest no record to show
is there any other way one can a tribe so confuse & directionless as the igbos without insulting the credible 5% amongst them, .apparently they stand for nothing hence why they fall for anything ..

putting all your eggs in one basket is not a wise choice.
is like south south plays more matured politics than south east leaders.
how can a a tribe assemble the whole leaders ,traditional and political leaders under one roof to endorse a candidate like atiku who has bad reputation home and abroad.
until igbos start playing realistic politics their political naivety will continue to hunt them

Will you shut up you dirty and stinking mouth there?
Igbos put their eggs in one basket bla bla bla was what you southwest idiots was saying during the last election and it turned later that the Igbos were the only people who got the political calculations well and knew from the onset that a Buhari presidency will be nothing but disaster. After almost 4yrs in Buhari's govt, hasn't he proven igbos right that he's a confirmed dullard from daura.

Please Id like to ask a couple of questions.

- After the defeat of the preferred candidate of Ndigbo in 2015 presidential election, they rented the air and cyberspace with cries about Yorubas being "betrayers".

- Not done with calling them betrayers, they went on to call them "Hausa/Fulani slaves" because they chose to vote a Fulani man, Buhari, who triumphed over their preferred candidate.

Now..

1. What makes Yorubas betrayers for choosing to exercise their freedom of association? Did they cut any deal with the Ndigbo to support Jonathan? Who were the political leaders that made the deal with Ndigbo on behalf of Yorubas?

2. What makes Yorubas slaves? Since when did forming political alliances in furtherance and promotion of a people's collective interest amount to SLAVERY?

3. What did Yorubas do then which Ndigbo aren't doing now, especially with one of their sons chosen as the VP candidate same way a Yoruba son was picked by Buhari?

Lastly and most importantly..

How would Igbos feel if those same words they have been using to describe Yorubas since 2015 is now used to describe them?

Ndi Igbo and Yoruba Christians are supporting Atiku to save the nation from Buhari's calamity while yoruba moslems supported a known jihadist banned for 15 years in US because of greed

Though they weren't a written agreement between both tribes, but the idea was to help make sure South equals North in terms of political structure, but all that got eroded at the emergency of Buhari.

At this point, Igbos have decided to play the Yoruba game, which is... support North, instead of Southern candidate.
