I was a student of Benson Idahosa University 97/98 Session, then referred to as Institute of Continuous Learning. The university was then an affiliate of University of Benin. After one week and some days that N25,000.00 transcript fee was paid in November 2018, I was told that they cannot find my file. All effort to reach the authorities on mail have proved abortive. I am using this medium to reach whoever know the authorities of the school to look into this challenge for amicable resolution please. I studied Diploma in Accounting then. Thank you.

Our record keeping culture in this country is super poor.
Most people keep their certificate like egg because once it gets lost or damaged the school is so likely to have no back up copy.

And some people are blaming Buhari for not presenting his certificate. If Benson Idahosa university cannot find the file of someone that finished in 1997, why is it so difficult to believe that the Nigerian Army cant locate the file that was submitted over 50 years ago? We should be blaming our poor records keeping system!
