Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo, took to Instagram to share an email he received from a fan asking him to help in raising N7.5m for his education in Australia.
According to the fan, the actual amount needed is N8M, but his mother, who he says is a widow has been able to raise just N500K.

This is a clear scam... But, replying from an angle claiming this is "true" just for commenting sake, I'd write this:

Why would a person without sponspor, assistance and resources decide to study abroad? Why did he apply for an australian when its not scholarship inclined? Who would pay for flight, visa and accomodation? Is it among the 8mil? How did he get Ekubo's direct mail?...
