Hello guys, please I need your assistance with the best form of making payments on Copart as a Nigerian. I am following an auction there and will appreciate knowing the best way to deposit money to my Copart account or make payment upon winning the auction. Many thanks for your anticipated assistance. |

francmoda:Thank you so much. This is really appreciated. Just so I get you clearly, by the FX transfer, you mean the wire transfer via domiciliary account right? |

I’ve been in the same situation before, so I’ll just share what currently works for me. Instead of doing bank FX transfers, I now use Clea to pay Copart from Nigeria. I fund in Naira and they handle the payment directly to Copart in USD. The payment is sent in my own name, so it reflects properly on my Copart account. So far, I’ve not had any issues with it, and the exchange rate and fees are better than what I used to get from banks or Aboki. If anyone needs another option, this is the page that explains how it works: https://tryclea.com/pay-copart-from-nigeria/ Just sharing in case it helps someone else. |
