For me devolution is great. Every region gets to control their development, not the centre. Im totally against the constitution amendment at this early stage as regards this matter. When will Kenyans learn to use their brains and not be led around by the nose by politicians? I dont believe for a minute any money saved from a leaner representation will help anything. It is peanuts, and it will still be stolen. Lets fight corruption first and then we can review the constitution later if we find that still neccessary.

Other than devolving corruption, I dont see any other demerit of devolution.

This will kill devolution completely. People dont care how poor you are so long as they also have problems to deal with in their own counties. As a matter of fact those so-called priviledged counties are already hurting and complaining with the current revenue allocation formula. People now want the revenue sharing to also consider how much wealth a county creates. You cant be creating wealth to develop others. It is an unpopular stand but thats the feeling on the ground.

Okay,so to summarize this counties with high economic and wealth prowess like Nairobi,mombasa etc should be accorded more funds or pesa ya mashinani.

At the same time,marginalized counties like Turkana and Marsabit etc experiences more challenges than the core counties which facilitates running of the country's economy mostly.
