What stops us from having several of those facilities being built here and we do the bulk of the maintenance here and reduce the huge amount of foreign exchange we burn when we go out to do it? Other African airlines can come into Nigeria to do theirs at a cheaper rate and we also earn forex from it too. We are not just serious as a nation.
And you think we can build something like that on a whim? Odinary petroleum refinery we can't even maintain you're talking aircraft workshop.

Also most of our millitary crafts are US made, it's not just about building some epic facility, you'll still need American Engineers.

Nothing stops us from building these things and having foreigners man it here while our local engineers learn from them. We are not just a serious nation.

While our engineers are doing what?
FYI

Many Engineers have left the country and more are still leaving because the country is NOT good again to give room to those that into this profession to succeed!
