That guy sounds like he's chatting shite. RWD models are lighter and have less power loss to the wheels. Also more fun to drive. Only thing AWD helps with is traction and handling.

Like I said before, I want power to all 4 wheels and wouldnt want to be at the mercy of some street urchins
when my rear drive wheels or front, as the case may be, get stuck.

That sounds like a more sensible reason, I suppose. Although I don't know if the suspension costs are worth that boon. Also don't know why you would be getting stuck. Maybe don't drive into shady terrain with a sport sedan?

Anything for comfort, no matter the price.
You can get stuck anywhere, even at the beach, as my last experience or an unfamiliar terrain during bad weather.
