The Senator representing Bayelsa East constituency and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Privatization, Ben Murray-Bruce, will, on Saturday, November 24, deliver the keynote speech at the 13th Founder’s Day ceremony of the American University of Nigeria, AUN.

This was made known in a press release signed by the University’s Executive Director, Communication and Publications, David Okereke and made available to The Next Edition.

According to him, the event will take place at the Lamido Aliyu Musdafa Commencement Hall on the main campus of the university in Yola, the Adamawa State capital.

Go and read your books properly. The legislative arm can perform any function as far as the people cried to them on the issue. I know many of do not know this but the legislative arm of govt is the strongest arm in a Democratic setting.
