thought I was the only one reasoning this way. we were just too soft if I can use that word, Tot bullied us almost every angle and their close marking no be here. Rudiger na case...too many poor clearance by him. Abeg make them carry Kante back to his previous role and we need a bully for an attacker and a change or two in defence

The rest are just “trying to achieve” that glory.

That would be a cracker! They played before a few years back and barca came out victorious. But Kevin De Bryne and the others gave a good account of themselves.
If there is a repeat, I think this time it will be very tough for barca. But on the other hand, man city does not have "crazy" players like Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, etc. Players that can single-handedly influence or change a game with their dribbles and maneuvers. Sane is the only one who tries to do something like that for city.

Exactly. He knows that Jorginho is not a physical player. He knows Jorginho does not know how to make tackles, yet he used him in that position when Kante is there. I don't like coaches that are hard and fast about their style of play. Why not change the game depending on your opponent? If he had played Kante in that DM position I don't think the humiliation would have been this much.

omoh , man city isn't overrated oh...that team is the best team in the world right now . SAF manutd also lost games to smaller teams . With the tempo and pace of the development of this club man city , if pep stays there for 4 more years I see dem out the SAF. Man utd ...just imagine if man city wins 2 UCL and 3 epls in 4 years ..and one treble ... wouldn't that b godly?

While I agree that Man U were a force both domestically and in Europe, the current Man C has been dominant in the EPL. I agree with you guys that the current Man C cannot beat that good Man U team of that era.
Now of course it is a different story. Even my Chelsea's "special one" has no solution for you guys ...

My broda ... let Man C win their first UCL first before you talk that one ...
Right now, the only teams that can win UCL are Barca, Juve, Bayern and Real M .... my humble opinion.
